Chapter Seven

(Deep in the forest)

Stephanie: "Cole, you in here?"

Cole: "And what if I'm not?"

Stephanie: *sigh* "I just wanted to know if you were ok..."

Cole: "I'm physically fine, but I'm also worried about Daniel."

Stephanie: "He just moved into the city, so when we turn 300, we could easily move in. There's no reason to be worried... Want to go back?"

Cole: "Uh.. yeah, sure..."

(On the way back to the cave)

*Tree branch snaps*

Cole: "Someone's here."

Stephanie: "What do you want?"

"..."

(The figure runs behind Cole after knocking Stephanie's head)

Stephanie: "What the heck dude?!"

Cole: (How is he so fast?)

(They proceeded to grab Cole and teleport away)

Stephanie: "Damn."

(Stephanie runs the rest of the way home, and tells Xavier what happened)

Xavier: "It better not be the Cree..."

Stephanie: "The what?"

Xavier: "Sworn rivals of the Slitherine."

Stephanie: "Why exactly?"

Xavier: "They experimented on all of us, even mom and dad."

Stephanie: "How come you remember all of this? You're the youngest."

Xavier: "They also wiped your memories of the lab. But I resisted as much as I could, and remembered most of it."

Stephanie: "So they're going to do more tests on Cole?"

Xavier: "Him and I specifically. We may be younger than you guys, but we're... "special..." "

Stephanie: "What ended up happening to our parents?"

Xavier: "They were killed right in front of me, I was forced to watch...We have to save Cole, I don't want to see anyone else die."
