My Light

I know how you feel
When you asked me
Do you understand?
I know how you struggle
When you tried to
Make me understand.
Bustling in to the campus like a bee,
To deliver the honey for me,
I absorbed all your honey
And flourished as glittering sunny.
Lot's of books in one hand,
Lot's of e-notes in other hand,
Meeting me in the class,
Receiving happiness from my voice.
Putting a smile in your face,
You meet me with your gaze.
Fighting back your worries,
You fight for my queries.
Satisfied when we answer,
Gratitude in our demeanor.
Shivered when we write the test,
Quivered Do they know what's next?
Pained as a mother in labour,
When our results come sober.
But still with the smiling lips
And with those kind eyes
You reach me to say it's alright
Because you'll make it right.
Guided us in the darkness with your light.
Everyone said don't go there and fight.
But you said come and I'll ignite.
Trusting you I put my feet,
And danced there in heavy beat.
All are surprised how you did, it's so darker?
I said with the help of my tutor.
Happy teachers day.
