*Leigh's POV*
I looked up to see the ball drop from above the stage. Confetti showered down onto the stage, and fluttered into the crowd. The fog machines were blasting, making it hard to see, since I was only in the fourth row!
I looked onto the stage to see Liam staring straight in my direction. I saw a movement in his arms and next thing I knew there was a balloon coming towards me.
*Jillian's POV*
"Jillian, there was a balloon," Leigh wheezed out. She was fatally allergic to latex!
"Help, someone call an ambulance! She is allergic to latex!" I said that just as Leigh fell to the ground.
Liam must have still been paying attention because he was standing there, blank, trying to decipher what was going on. Then he figured it out, "Stop, stop! Someone call and ambulance!" He shouted in the the microphone. The auditorium fell silent.
Next thing I knew, security guards were coming, spitting questions at me. "We should get her on the stage so the paramedics can reach her easily." I just stood there in shock, blaming myself because I knew I should've reminded Leigh to take her medicine that morning.
*Liam's POV*
It was my fault. I threw the balloon. I came up with the idea to have the balloons in the first place. And now her limp body was laying only a few meters away on the stage. Niall and I were the only boys left on stage, the others had run to go to the loo, or get a drink.
"The ambulance should be here any minute," Paul informed us, before he scurried off. The girls friend slowly made her way up to the stage, and then her eyes lit up as they met mine, and I quickly looked way.
"Well, I'm off to get a bite," Niall said, gently punching me as he walked by. He left me alone on the stage with the girl, her friend, security, and now the load of paramedics.
*Leigh's POV*
I could hear the voices, and feel myself being carried somewhere. I could feel my pulse being checked, my blood pressure. I could feel the paramedics lifting me up onto the stretcher. But when I tried to talk, move, or even think, it just wouldn't happen.
*Jillian's POV*
Ohmigawd I'm standing on the same stage One Direction just belted their hearts out on for the past hour and a half. The same stage Liam is standing on, I looked up at him, but he turned his head. I tried to follow the paramedics, but they protested, saying I wasn't family and it would make it harder for them to aid Leigh. How am I supposed to get to the hospital, I can't drive!?!
I was knocked out of my trance, "Do you need a ride to the hospital?" It was one of the security officers
"I, uh, sure," I coughed out. I followed him backstage, and saw Liam had tagged along.
*Liam's POV*
I chased Will (A/N I don't know if that is a real security officer, I made it up!) backstage and asked if I could go to the hospital. I felt bloody horrible for this, it was all my fault
"No, paps will already go there, and if you go, the number would multiply! You don't even know the girl!" Will protested, hurrying along. You continued to argue until he gave in.
Will personally drove us to the hospital, in a black Range Rover. We rode in silence for the first bit. "So, uh, what is your name?"
"J-J-Jillian," she responded shakily. Reading my mind she said, "A-A-And my friends name is L-L-Leigh."
"Mine is Liam, if you didn't know that already," there, that got a chuckle out of Jillian. The rest of the ride was quiet, and I could see tears forming in Jillian's eyes.
