A/n: I think you all know the deal with y/n and everything. So let's start the story~

~Y/n POV
I stare at the crisp white envelope on my desk. At the top it's addressed to me, from my school. My body is shivering. I've been in class D for so long. This must be my letter that will finally let me move up to class C... I hope.
Finally, I shake my head and grab the letter. There's no point in waiting, whatever that's in the letter will happen anyway.
I rip open the envelope to find a folded paper as clean as the envelope it was in. I shakily open it.
'To miss y/n,
Due to your recent performance in Kunugigaoka Junior High School, we, the school board, have decided to move you to class E. The move will take action as of next week. Take these next few days to clean out your school materials in order to move them to the other school building.
Sincerely,
The Principal and Kunugigaoka Junior High School Board'
My hand tightens around the paper. I feel my eyes begin to fill with tears. How could they do this to me? I've done all my work. I'm a good student. I've tried so hard in class, and now I'm being sent to class E. The tears break free, tracking lines down my cheeks. I wipe my face. My parents... they'll be so disappointed in me. They wanted me to succeed, become a doctor or maybe a lawyer, but now, that's not possible. There's no future for me now that I'm class E.

I stand in front of my new class. An old wooden building that looks like it was new 50 years ago. When I step inside the hall, my footsteps echo with every step.
No ones here. I think. Is this a joke? I walk deeper into the building. Where is everyone?
Suddenly, I hear a crack of sound that sounds like it came from a gun. My whole body trembles. Why are there guns here?!? What's going on!?
A door in front of my creaks open and I yelp, half expecting a hardened criminal to come running out. But instead, a middle aged man with spiky brown hair walks out instead.
I let out a breath I've been holding. "Um, sir?" I say.
He turns and I swallow. He's hot.
"Ah." He says. "You must be our new student.Y/n, correct?"
I nod.
"Good." He says. "Then I'll take you to the classroom."
As we walk, I remember something. The gun shot.
"S-sir." I say. "I, well, I-"
"Please." He says. "Call me Mr. Karasuma. I am one of you teachers now."
"O-okay." I say. " W-well, Mr. Karasuma, I heard, well, I thought I heard a gunshot earlier. Do you know what that was?"
Mr. Karasuma looks at me. "About that... I should tell you now, since you'll be dealing with it for the rest of the school year." He looks me right in the eye. "Your homeroom teacher, you will have to kill him."
I jump back. "WHAT!?!!" I yelp. "KILL HIM!? He's going to be my teacher! What-"
Before I can finish, Mr. Karasuma presses his fingers against my mouth. " I understand why you're surprised. You haven't gotten time to get used to it. But the truth is, you and your classmates have to kill your teacher before the end of school or else half of the world will explode."
He pulls his hand away from my lips and I swallow. "Well, if he's a big threat, why hasn't the government k-killed him?"
Mr. Karasuma sighs. "The issue is, he moves at Mach 20. And we haven't been able to kill him."
"W-what?! Moch 20? If the government couldn't kill him, then how can a group of teenagers?"
"Our target decided to teach here. And he promises to not harm any of you students. So you're our only hope to save the world."
"But we don't know how to kill people...we're not assassins."
"Which is why I'm here. On top of regular classes, I will teach you how to be a proper assassin. Which reminds me." Mr. Karasuma steps into a door that's marked 'Faculty'. He returns holding a sleek black case and hands it to me. "These are the instruments you will be using to assassinate you teacher."
I carefully take the case. "Okay." I say. "I guess I'm ready to meet my teacher and classmates now."
Mr. Karasuma nods. "Your class is down the hall, marked class 3-E."
I nod. "Well, I guess I'm ready to go. Thank you for your help, Mr. Karasuma." I bow to him.
He nods. "I'll see you later in class," he says.
Then I head down the hall, towards my new class.
