I take in a deep breath. I'm standing in front of my class door, and butterflies are flapping around like crazy in my stomach. I take in another breath. I can do this!
I slide open the door and step in to reveal something that's even more surprising than everything else that's happened today. A huge smiling yellow octopus.
I swallow. It's okay. I think. I'm okay. I can handle it.
The octopus walks over to me. "You must be y/n l/n, our new student."
I nod quickly.
"Well then, do you want to meet your class?"
I nod again and walk in to face a class room of different faces.
"I-I'm y/n l/n." I bow and stand again. "I'm l-looking forward to meeting all of you."
"Did you hear that class?" The octopus says. "I expect you all to treat y/n nicely and welcome her to our classroom. Speaking of that, would someone like to show y/n around?"
A hand rises into the air.
"Ah Nagisa. Thank you."
A blue haired boy stands and walks over to me. He smiles. "It's nice to meet you."
My cheeks are dusted pink, but I nod and smile back. "I-It's nice to meet you too."
*(left my stuff at front of classroom)*
Nagisa leads me down the hall, towards the entrance. "There isn't much here. We have all our classes in the same classroom. Well, except for the gym. That's outside in the front."
We exit the building and step out into the front. I look around to find hundreds of green trees around the building, pink tulips in a garden box, and the gentle chirp of birds.
"It's beautiful." I say.
Nagisa nods, looking at the forest too. "Yeah. It's something you don't get down at the main campus."
"Oh." I say, remembering my life back in class D. I shake my head. "A-Anyways, are you guys really going to kill the octopus?"
Nagisa looks at me. "Well, we have to. Or else he'll destroy the Earth." He pulls out a green knife and grips it in his hand. "We've been trying our best, but we can't even touch him. The only one who got remotely close was Karma, and he just burst a few tentacles. It's not easy considering we're super inexperienced and our target can move at Mach 20."
I nod. "I can see how hard that is..."
"Don't worry." I feel Nagisa lay a hand on my shoulder. "You'll get a hang of it. We all did."
I nod. "Thanks, Nagisa. And not just for the tour."
Nagisa's face turns pink. "I-It wasn't any problem. I just remembered how I felt when I first found out about this."
I smile. "Still, thank you."

After the tour, Nagisa and I return to the classroom and the octopus (well, Koro-sensei. Nagisa told me about him) turns to me.
"I'm sure Nagisa did a good job showing you the school and explaining things?"
I nod. "Yes."
Koro-sensei turns to Nagisa. "Thank you Nagisa."
Nagisa nods and sits down.
"Well then, y/n, let's find a desk for you..." Koro-sensei looks around. "What about there, the first empty desk."
"Okay..."
I pick up my bags and walk to the back of the class, next to a red headed boy. When I sit down, Koro-sensei resumes his lesson and I quickly pull out my notebook and jot things down.
"Hey."
I look up from my notes to find it's the redheaded boy. I give him a questioning look.
"Do you wanna use my notes?"
"D-don't you need them?" I ask, confused.
"Nah. Here." He pulls a notebook out of his bag. "You can have them."
He hands the notebook to me and I carefully take it. "T-thank you."
"It's no problem."
I open up his notebook to find notes describing so many subjects. From math to science to reading to social studies. I find the end is the same subject we're on right now and I pick up from there.
Wow. I think. These are nicely written notes. Why would he just give them to me?
Suddenly, there's the bang of metal hitting the ground and the sound of a gunshot follows soon after.
"Karma." I look up to find Koro-sensei holding a pink bb with broken chalk. "What have I said about discharging guns in the classroom?"
Karma stands up his chair and lounges back into it, a smug smile on his face.
"Sorry teach, but it was too good of an opportunity to pass up."
I stare at Karma, half amazed, half frightened. How is he so good at this? School's only been in session for a few months and he's already this good at using a gun. Who knows how good he is at other weapons?
Karma turns to me and my cheeks heat up from being caught. But he just grins. "You see, school here is much more interesting than the other building."
I nod shyly then quickly turn back to my notes
