"remember when" i took a deep breath, he looked at me confused "when you were looking for me?" i asked and he nodded his head "yeah but" i cut him off "i was with alejandro rosario.. mattia you know our story back then an" i hesitated once i saw the pain that was forming in his eyes "please don't tell me you" he paused once i looked down.
"no please tell me" i cut him off "im so sorry" i sob and he gets up to hold his head with both his hands "i didn't mean to" i looked up and he shed a tear "he forced you right? please tell me he did!" he cried as he held on my shoulders.
i shed a tear, i was hurt and so was he "why? when all i did was love you! i respected our relationship! i know i didn't give you the attention you deserve but cheat on me with the guy that used you?! the guy that you told me not to worry about!" he cried and i was devastated. "i'm sorry! okay i really am! i know!" i tried to hug him but he took a step back.
"you're not. and i was over here thinking you were going to say yes when i proposed at a dinner tomorrow night." he nodded his head in disappointment and my heart shed once he said that. "what?" i ask as he got changed quickly. "you're free to go to him now. just leave me alone y/n, you don't know how hurt i am." he cried. "mattia please" i tried to stop him once he put a hand on the door knob but he pushed me away. "goodbye y/n" he looked at me in the eyes before he stormed out.

"is everything ready for tonight?" i ask as i looked out the glass wall taking a sip from my drink, "yeah we just need the girls that will be with 'el coronel' tonight" kairi said. "leave it to the waitresses, are you following him like i said so?" i ask as i eyed him and he took a deep breath "yeah... umm you're not going to like what jake saw last night"he stuttered and i looked at him putting my drink down.
"tell me" i served myself more vodka as he got himself a glass too "they spent the night together"kairi stutters and i clench my jaw before i took deep shot. " i want him dead kairi" i demand and he nods his head "aleja" i cut him off "dead!" i yell making him jump.
"hey baby" i hear lily's voice from behind me, i roll my eyes and take another sip "what now lily" i scoff and she wraps her arms behind me "why are you mad? do you need me to help you out on something?" she asks running her nails through my head which i loved when she did. "maybe we can take this to your penthouse" she whispers in my ear making me crave her so bad.
i smirk before i hear kairi clear his throat out "where's aliz?" he asks as lily took a seat on my lap, i wrap my hands around her waist while she served herself a drink "she's making sure the girls know what to do when el coronel gets here" she replies. "you left her in charge huh" i smirk as i smell her silky hair and she threw her head back "she's the only one i can stand unlike y/n" she scoffs and i get up.
"make sure you call her, she's not going to miss work and if she does kairis going to make sure she's here by tonight." i demand both of them before i walked out the room leaving them behind.

i woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, i start to rub my eyes and sat up before i reached to get it. 'lily' i read on my screen and sigh before i answer "hello?" i say "just calling to let you know we're not wearing uniforms tonight, make sure you wear something red that's how the boss wants it" she scoffs and i get up to open the blinds. "tell your boss i'm not going to work, i quit" i hand up and look at the sun starting to rise, i take a deep breath then tears started to build up again.
"i didn't mean to hurt you" i tell myself as mattia ran through my mind, i looked as the cars drove at the bottom of the building then i eyed my grandpas picture in the corner " why'd you leave me without telling me what happened?" i got the frame and sat on the side of my bed, a tear dropped on his face.
later on the day..
i turned off the tv once i glanced down at the time on my phone it read 9:30pm. my shift started 30 minutes ago and i was a complete mess. " fuck that job" i rolled my eyes and cuddled my pillow.

"where is she?" i clench my jaw as i looked at the crowd and at my workers and didn't spot her "she said she quit baby" lily scoffs and i give her a death glare "quit?! where's kairi?!" i raise my voice making jump " what's up ale" i hear him say behind me. i turn around and grip his shirt giving him a death glare "i told you i wanted y/n here! lily just told me she quit!" i yell at him.
"chill! i'll get it taken care of!" he stutters and i let him go "alejandro" el coronel says behind me with a chuckle at the end "heyyy... let's head to the vip." i smile as i placed my hand on his shoulder i turn around and give kairi the look "on it" i read his lips and he walked away.

"y/n please open the door" i wake up to a voice downstairs and knocking on my door. i got up and rubbed my eyes as i headed downstairs to open the door, i opened and kairi gave me a weak smile " no" i say and tried to close the door but he pushed it wide open and walked inside. "i told lily i quit so don't insist" i cross my arms and walk to the living room when i felt his hand grab my wrist "i know what happened" he mumbled before he pulled me in to a hug and i let my pain out in his arms.
