"WAKE UP!" (y/n) shouted as he jumped on me, "(Y/N)!" I said. It's been three years since I took (y/n) in, he's been working hard every day to control his flames. "What time is it?" I asked he held up seven fingers, "WHAT WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP?!" I said, "It's fine kiddo, Mama just has to go keep an eye on someone later. In an hour or so I'm gonna have to leave." I said, "You remember what to do right?" I asked, "Yeah!" He said, "Ok well just in case. I'll give you some money for food to give to Stella, and if she asked for payment tell her that her payment is she gets to live after what she did last time she babysat you." I said, "Otay!" He said.

"Your mom has to work late again hugh?" She said as I handed her the food money, "I take it I'm not gonna get paid for watching you hugh?" She said, "No." I said, "That's fine if I were your mom I wouldn't pay me after what happened last time either." She said as she ruffled my hair. "How about we order a pizza and watch a movie?" She said. Stella was an exorcist before she retired and became a teacher, she moved into the building a few months before mama and I did. She was always very nice and was always more than happy to watch me, but the last time she watched me a demon almost kidnapped me after possessing her boyfriend, Mama killed the demon, but Stella's boyfriend left her that night. "Oh and (y/n), I know your secret." Stella said as she read a pizza menu, "If I see even a spark of those flames of yours I will put you down just like any other demon." She said as she pointed a handgun at me, "But as long as you keep those flames under control I don't see any reason why things have to change." She said sweetly as she put the gun away, "Scary." I said as I hid behind the couch.
"(y/n), I'm home." Mama said as she took a sip of her beer, "Scary." I said, "She said something didn't she?" She said, "Scary." I said, "I'm gonna kill her. Slowly. Painfully." She said, "oh well I guess it doesn't matter at this point. It's only a matter of time till that kid lets the secret out and gets himself killed." She said, "And when that happens you will stay by my side." She said as she put two candles on opposite ends of the room, "Now light the candles sweetie." She said as I lit the candles, "You're getting better. Maybe soon you'll be able to come with me." She said as she ruffled my hair, "Now it's almost your bedtime, go get changed and I'll be in to tuck you in." She said, "Otay!" I said, "I love you kiddo." She said as she kissed my cheek.
