Chapter 2 rewrite

Ok, so I'm going to rewrite chapter 2 because I hate it, and I want you guys to have some sort of a chapter because you've all been waiting so long and I feel bad.

(By the way, it's 2 am at the time of writing this and I couldn't sleep so I just thought of doing this.)

Four's POV

I was standing next to x and we were about to start a contest, we just stood there, staring off into space.... "Four and x are about to announce the next contest right now!" A contestant said. "Uhhh... it doesn't look like they're doing anything right now..." another contestant said. "No, when they have that blank look on their face, it means that they're going to say something!" The contestant explained. "But it always starts with x floating mysteriously into the sky." We still just stood there. "Annnnnny second now..." "when's it gonna happen?" "Annny second now." Then, I signaled x to do the thing. X smashed right through the ground. The contestants were very shocked. "X is hurtling towards earth's center at 2,763 miles per hour! Ohhhhhh nooooooooo..." I told them.

"Oh, and the contest is to bring x back to you? Gosh, that's predictable!" Said pillow. What pillow said made me really mad, so mad that I wanted to screech and eat her. You know what? That might not be a bad idea! I went in front of pillow, opened my mouth as wide and as big as I can, put pillow on my tongue, and screeched as loud as I can. "SCREEEEEEEEEECH!" " four, I hope you don't swallow!" Tree covered his nonexistent ears. I didn't hear what he said and swallowed, "gulp! Huh?" He looked at me with disappointment.

"Pillow is incorrect! X may be plummeting towards the depths of the underground, but x is just looking for his treasure!" I explained, "I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN BECAUSE I MUST BE X'S ONLY TREASURE!" I yelled out. All of the contestants looked at me. "What did you just say?" One contestant asked. I didn't realize that I said that out loud. I got super embarrassed and blushed, "u-uhhh I m-mean!.... j-just pretend I didn't say anything...." "no way, I'm pretty sure you said that because you want x to love you!" Someone said, all of the contestants gasped. "Oooooooh they're in looooooooveeee!" "Four and x, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!" The contestants all made fun of me, and I got really mad and embarrassed.

I snapped. I screeched, zapped, and used all of my other powers on everyone who made fun of me. The contestants that didn't make fun of me were horrified and were glad that they didn't do anything. "You guys are lucky." I said to them. I casually went back to the explaining the contest like nothing happened, "so if you find x's treasure before x does, you're safe! "Goooooooooo...."

X's POV

I was swimming through the lava peacefully when I heard four say something in the distance, "I CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN BECAUSE I MUST BE X'S ONLY TREASURE!" I was confused, what did that mean? What was four trying to say? I was so curious, but I didn't let that bother me for too long and just kept doing what I was doing.

Time passed by, I heard something again. I heard Tennis Ball's voice in my head saying, "x is stupid." Ouch... that hurt a lot... My eyes started to water, that made me feel really bad....I'm going to tell four about this later...

Four's POV

I waited and waited, each contestants gave me their emerald until there was one last team that hasn't. After the losers of the contest was announced, I hopped on to spongy's airplane because the earth was filled with lava. Then, puffball asked me something, "four, if all of the emeralds were barley underground or inside if your eyeball, why is x still hurtling towards earth's center?" I thought about it, "what a silly question."

X's POV

Why am I still doing this?

........

I finally reached the surface and I found the earth to be filled with lava. I flew out of there using my flying abilities, all the way to space to meet four. I saw four sitting on top of spongy's spaceship and went over to him. "Hi four!" I greeted. "Hey x, I've been waiting for you." Four smiled. "Hey umm...before we talk about the contestants and stuff, can I tell you something?" I asked. "Of course you can x! You can tell me anything!" Four responded. "I know that you're going to get mad, but.....Tennis Ball called me stupid and it really hurt me..." I told him with a sad expression. "He called you WHAT?" As expected, four got really angry and started to look for Tennis Ball so that he could get revenge for me. "Four! Wait- sigh....I wonder why he's been so protective of me lately...."

Okay, that's all for this chapter rewrite. I think this version is much better and I'm tempted to replace the original with this one, but I know I shouldn't.

If you guys want to see the comparison, read chapter 2 if you haven't already or you forgot about what happened in it, which is very likely because I even forgot what happened that I had to reread my own chapter, and copy and paste it into here so that I wouldn't have to go back and forth from chapter 2 to here to look at it for reference. Yeah, it's been that long since I've read any of my chapters. I probably forgot about what happened in the story, so I probably will have to reread some stuff so that I can continue the story the right way.

Update: I finally finished up making the drawings I wanted to put in this chapter! Sorry for not putting any yesterday and posting it, I was tired and I wanted to post it immediately because I wanted you guys to have content as soon as possible. I wonder if I should have put another one at the end....oh well
