"I haven't even properly sat down and here you are, already looking like a bitch who drank the whole night."

Lisa turned to me when I pulled the high chair beside her before sitting down. The girl was clad in a beautiful tight fitting dress and her hair was nicely undone.
Typical Lisa.

Said girl lazily smiled to me after a sip.
"I missed you too, Jen." She moved to kiss my cheek but I jokingy pushed her away with a disgusted face.

"Eew what the fuck, you reek of alcohol already! How long have you been drinking?"

Lisa snorted and stared at her glass with a sly smile. "Probably 3-4 hours? I dunno, really. Don't overreact though, you know I'm a heavy drinker."

I squinted my eyes at her. "What? Are you planning on getting wasted? No one's driving your drunk ass home bitch." I spat as I signaled the bartender to get me a drink.

Lisa clung onto my arm and rubbed her cheek on my shoulder. "Aww, I thought that's why you're here?" She spoke in a child-like voice.

I cringed so hard at her and pushed her head away with my finger. "You wish." She only laughed at me.

"Where's Chae by the way?" Lisa asked and I rolled my eyes upon remembering the reason why Chae can't celebrate with us.

"Can't come coz' my dad gave her so much homework." I sipped on my glass as I heard Lisa groan.

"What the hell? She chose work over me? Wow, I'm seriously hurt. We have not seen each other for years!" Lisa exaggeratedly whined.

"Dummy, you're gonna see her on 30." I reminded her and I visibly notice her stiffen.

She chuckled dryly and sipped on her drink. "Yeah, I don't think so." This made me turn to her with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't tell me you're not coming?"

"Okay, I won't tell you." She looked at the glass with a sad smile.

"Bullshit Lalisa. You're coming whether you like it or not." I said with finality in my voice.

"It seems like you're forgetting Taehyung and I broke up Jen. It's his birthday and not yours. I won't go, unless he invites me of course, but we both know that's not gonna happen." She drank the remaining of her drink and signaled the bartender for another one.

"See, this is why I've been pushing you to tell him the truth already. You're back with your self-pity again. This would all be better if you tell him the reason why you did all those things to him. You might even get back together."

I heard her sigh heavily as she shook her head before turning to look at me.

"It's not that easy."

"Of course it is. I know he loved you so much, I've witnessed it with my own eyes. You two were so in love, it was beautiful. He will understand if you tell him. I just know."

She was silent for a while as if remembering something I didn't know.

"No, you don't understand because you didn't see his eyes back then Jen." She looked at me as her eyes got glossy with tears that are threatening to fall.

There I saw my bestfriend break in front me and it seemed like I can't do anything about it.
