Always remember, when you're telling a story, you are a kindergarten teacher and the readers are the toddlers. Always and always tell what point of view we are in, either it would be 3rd person, the main character, or literally anyone else. Because your readers will have no chance of understanding the context and pronouns, that would make them too smart. 

Having a relatable character is key for a story, and who is more relatable than you? You probably know you better than anyone else, and you know you are great, and the same with everyone else. 

The easiest way of making a character like able is making everyone else unconditionally like your character. Character flaws are bad so make your character
