{DISCONTINUED} Heroes can't save everyone... A Vigilante Izuku Fanfic

Back Story: Part 1

Hey Everyone! This is my first book! I encourage you all to point out my mistakes. I don't prefer having an overpowered Izuku as a vigilante, so in this one he is still quirkless but gets a quirk later on! In my AU Dabi is Touya and you can't change my mind! Anyway, Enjoy!

"Mommy, mommy wake UP!" screamed the four-year-old as he was nudging his mother awake.

"Izuku , honey. You need to calm down." said the half asleep mother.

"But, Mom. Today is the day I learn what my quirk is. I want to have a cool quirk like Kacchan!" the four-year-old couldn't contain his excitement. After a quick breakfast and getting ready , they were on their way to the doctor's.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, but your son is quirkless. He has an extra joint in his pinky toe which we haven't seen in people with quirks."

"Mommy what does that mean?" asked the four-year-old as they were on their way to the car. 

"I'm sorry Izuku, it's all my fault! I'm a useless Mother, you don't have a quirk because of me!" his mum broke down in the car, there were streams of salty tears all over her face. 

"Mommy don't be sorry I will grow strong and make you proud. I'll be just like All Might!" The four-year-old told his mother with a face of confidence.

"Right, right. Now let's go you can't be a strong hero if you don't work hard!" Said the mother, while wiping tears off her face. Your so strong Izuku, if only I was as strong as you. 

Izuku and Inko were driving to a nearby martial arts place run by Inko's old friend. 

"Mom, so where ar-"  

A car had crashed into the back of their car, there were some heroes nearby who saved Inko but before they could go back to save Izuku, the car burst into blue flames. Inko was passed out but when she woke up she had amnesia, she forgot her son and what she was even doing here. Doctors assumed she could possibly get her memories back with time, but she won't.

A/N: (PLOT CONVENIENCE, I want DADZAWA but I want a good Inko soooo yeah deal with it)

Izuku was presumed dead because the car and everything inside was burned beyond recognition. Though that's not the case. All For One had been abducting young children everywhere. He was planning on experimenting with young children to see if they could respond better to the quirks that he puts in them. 

At the L.O.V. base:

"Dabi brought another child Sensei. What should I do with this one?" asked blACk  MiST

"Throw him and Dabi back into the cell with the others"

At this Kurogiri opens a warp gate and puts the child through. Izuku wakes up to see a girl around his age with space buns, yellow eyes and a psycho smile. A lot of other children were behind her. They were all dirty and thin, but still harbored curious faces. 

"My name is Izuku Midoriya, what is yours?" asked Izuku, he was in unknown territory, he might as well make some friends.

The psycho girl asked in a high-pitched voice,"My name is Toga Himiko, nice to meet you Izuku. Can I call you Izu-kun?"

"Sure, if I can call you Toga!" replied Izuku cheerily. His smile was infectious, soon all the other kids were talking to him except one older kid in the back, he had black hair and scars all over him. 

"Why isn't he coming Toga?" asked Izuku innocently.

"I guess it's okay to tell you. We all here are part of an experiment, the person running this all has a quirk that allows him to take quirks and put quirks inside people. He is helping us a lot, we were all abandoned by society." replied Toga.

"What about him?He looks older than us."

 "The one over there was from a family that wanted him to be a part of a special hero program. He didn't want to so he purposely wasn't training his quirk, so when he finally used it it burned him and everyone thought he was dead." 

"Oh, that's sad. Is he okay? So he is here to get revenge?"

"Mhm, we are pretty sure. He is the one that brought you here, so he probably feels guilty." 

At this they heard AFO scream through the speakers, "Go to sleep brats!"All the kids scrambled into their beds and slept. Izuku didn't know where to go, but the older kid hasn't gone to sleep yet, so he went over to him. 

"Hello, what's you name?  I'm Izuku. Toga told me about you I'm sorry for how you were treated. You probably deserve better..." Izuku kept mumbling.

"Be quiet they'll hear you. I'm Dabi. I'm not that affected by that stuff anyway. I just miss him. U-uhh forget about what I just said. You can sleep with me, they haven't brought in your cot yet. I'm sorry for bringing you into this place." Said Dabi, he yawned and crawled into his bed, motioning for Izuku to follow him.

"It's okay Dabi,"said Izuku softly as he crawled into Dabi's arms. 

A/N: NO, NO, NO, I do ship Dabideku sometimes but this is brotherly love okay. NOTHING MORE. yes I am a multishipper.

The next day Izuku woke up in a cold chamber, there was a man in a weird mask with a bunch of wires come out of it.

"Welcome Izuku Midoriya. I am All For One. You can call me Sensei. All the other kids have either a villainous quirk or are quirkless like you. I changed their lives for the better, the only thing they owe me is their allegiance and their help when I need it. I can give you a quirk if you want me to. Any quirk you wish!"

"N-No, thank you. I p-promised my m-mom, I'd become a hero w-without a quirk and I will do that!" replied Izuku, he was stuttering, but was committed to what he said.

"I thought this might happen. Look at this video I found." AFO plays a security footage of Inko in the doctors office.

"MOM!" screamed Izuku, there were tears pooling in his eyes. The video played as the doctor showed pictures of Izuku, she couldn't recognize him. This broke the poor child's heart, but even though she wouldn't know. He would still become a hero, and if he got a quirk from a villain and had to help him he knew it wouldn't help. "I-It's s-still a n-no" said a sniffling Izuku.

"Is that so. Well I have no other choice." He then touches Izuku's forehead and Izuku screamed a deathly scream. The type you hear in horror movies and gives you goosebumps. Izuku passed out after. "It didn't work on him, I'll try another one tomorrow, take him to the cell." said AFO with a monotone voice. Kurogiri opens a warp gate and puts Izuku on a cot. Dabi runs forward, along with Toga. They quietly make sure Izuku is fine.

This goes on for 2 years, but every time All For One tried to put a quirk in him, it didn't work but when it did work he just didn't realize it. AFO deemed Izuku a failed experiment and threw him out, knowing that no one would believe his stories anyway. Though in he two years that Izuku lived there, he had become close to both Dabi and Toga most of the other kids were allowed to leave or died, but Dabi and Toga became full time members of the L.O.V., Toga only cause she needed food, and Dabi because he wanted revenge and couldn't trust Toga to be by herself.
