Poem: faucet failure

I did it
I turned on the faucet
At first only two drops fell
But only in a matter of seconds
The knob broke
Now there's water splattering everywhere
It won't stop
The knob is broken
I tried
It wouldn't stop running
I don't know what to do
I'm in the middle of nowhere
I screamed for help
I called every "friend"
But nobody knew how to fix it
Or would think I'm lying
And some just simply didn't care

Somebody came
Someone strange
Someone who claims
To have a broken faucet too
I shouldn't trust him
Why would he care
Nobody cares
His faucet wasn't broken
But it was loose
I thought that meant
He would understand

He left
No trace
No nothing
