TW: mentions of abuse
Samantha ,who goes by Sam, is antisocial. She hates people and crowds so she sticks to herself. Everyone leaves her alone except one. Sam's best friends is called Molly. They are childhood friends and stuck together ever since even though Sam would rather be alone. Sam only keeps to herself because of her mother. In high school, she came out as a lesbian to her mother. Sam's mother started mentally abusing her daughter ever since her father died of lung cancer. But one thing Sam didn't know her mother was homophobic.
*Flashback to when she came out*
Sam walked into the house. The smell of alcohol filled her nose. The smell of tobacco was their air freshener.
''Oi disappointment get in here and bring me another beer !'' her mother bellowed
Sam didn't hesitate and ran to the kitchen to fetch her mother's drink before another argument started. ''Here.'' she said passing it to her mother.
''Mom I have something really important to tell you..''
''Fine but hurry up I'm going out tonight.'' Her mother slurred.
'' I'm..I'm gay i like girls..''Sam told her mother.
Her eyes widened. She stood up and.. slapped her daughter in the face.
'' No daughter of mine will be a dyke, you will forget this nonsense and clean up before i get back.''
And just like her mother slammed the door and left her only child weeping on the floor..
*End of flashback*
Sam was walking to school as usual with the newest bruises her mother left her this morning before shouting dyke at her and pushing her out the house.
''Sam, wait up !''
She turned her head to see her best friend about to jump on her. Sam groans in pain..
'' Sorry i forgot, did she really do it again, doesn't she hurt you enough, you even told her it was nonsense and she still beats you." Molly asked worried for her bet friend' health.
Sam stays quiet and just nods slightly as they make their way to school. Not saying a word for the rest of their trip.
*Molly's thoughts*
I can't believe her mother is doing this to her! It's unfair!

Sam saw molly was in thought so she decided not to say anything and just continue walking. When they get to the school, Sam put her arm in front of her best friend to stop her tripping.
"Jesus what happened here" Molly asked
Sam looked up from her phone after angry texts from her mother to not come home and that she is a disgusting dyke and all that shit.
A huge crowd swarmed the school every one had their phones out taking pictures.
The two best friends were confused until...
