Percy's POV:
And, unfortunately, not always my head.
........................................................
In Camp Half-Blood, the camp was holding a competition to test everyone's strength and abilities. Percy stood in front of the scaffold and turned when he heard his girlfriend cheering his name. He grinned at her then turned back to the task at hand. His grin came off of his face when Clarisse, the daughter of Ares, the God of War, came up to him. Clarisse said to Percy, with a smirk on her face, "Oh! How nice of you to just to show up and watch me win!" Percy replied, with a smirk as well, "You know, everything they say about you is wrong, Clarisse. You actually do have a sense of humor." Eleanor, or Ellie as she is affectionately called by others, stood with Adriana and Annabeth on the sidelines of the competition.

Of course, she would've gladly stepped into the competition and give her boyfriend a run for his money. But, as her position as the Princess of Mt. Olympus and Chiron's constant fear of her father, she was forced to stay in the sidelines. Grover said, coming up to the three girls, "Go, Percy! I have fifty drachmas on you!" Ellie turned to the Sytar and said, crossing her arms, "You bet on this?!" Grover turned to his friend's girlfriend and replied, shrugging his shoulders, "What? Is that wrong?" Ellie only rolled her eyes and sighed in annoyance while Adriana let out a snort, causing Annabeth to turn to her with a questioning look. Grover only shaked his head and turned back to watch the competition.

From underneath the tent, Chiron and Mr. D stood as they watched the competition unfold. Mr. D was desperate to have a drink of wine. He turned to him and said, "'97 Xinomavro. Would you like a taste?" Chiron only sighed and replied, "Why? Why do you torture yourself, Dionysus?" The sounds of a boy and girl screaming as they fell off of the scaffold caused the two to cringe. Mr. D said, "It was one transgression. One! And wihth a naiad, for the sake of Olympus. How was I to know that Zeus, Elizabeth's father, had a thing for her or that he could hold a grudge for so long?" As he poured the wine into the glass, the wine turned into water, causing him to groan. Chiron sighed and replied, chuckling, "For one thing, the girl's name is Eleanor, not Elizabeth. And I think that as long as you continue to say the girl's name wrong, Zeus will continue his grudge for that reason. I also think the fact that Zeus is immortal means there's no limit to how long he can hold a grudge." Mr. D said, "You know, the Christians have a guy who can do this trick in reverse. Now, that's a god!"

Back with Ellie, the teenage girl could only with worry as her boyfriend tried to get to the top, competing against Clarisse. Now, Ellie didn't have a problem with the confident girl. The two girls actually got on pretty well, almost best friends. Of course, Ellie didn't want everyone to think that they had to be extremely nice to her because she was the daughter of Zeus and the future Queen of Mt. Olympus. Her eyes followed her boyfriend who got distracted by someone calling for help down below of the scaffold. It was a boy, with his foot stuck on the ladder. Percy told the boy to hold on and went down to help him. He would rather loose the win to help the boy from getting injured than to win and the boy ended up with a serious injury. Ellie smiled proudly, she was proud that she was in a relationship with a caring boy who cared about everyone else's well-being rather than his own. Unfortunately, luck wasn't with Percy this round.

After helping the boy, Clarisse had pushed one of the poles towards Percy. Ellie gasped and shouted, a little too late, "Percy, look out!!!" She cringed as the pole made contact with her boyfriend, knocking him off of the scaffold and landing roughly on the ground. He landed right at Ellie's feet and she crouched down in front of him. Percy groaned and looked up at his girlfriend to see three versions of her. Ellie said to Percy, holding up five fingers, "You okay, Perc? How many fingers am I holding up, babe?" Percy replied, hesitantly, "Nine? And why are there three versions of you?" Ellie sighed and was about to say something but was interrupted by Clarisse wining the prize.

The girl only rolled her eyes as Clarisse walked over to them. Ellie mentally prepared herself for Clarisse to gloat to her and Percy but she knew that deep down, she was going to regret it later. Ellie helped her boyfriend to his feet and wrapped her arm around his waist then wrapped his arm around her shoulders, to keep him steady. Clarisse came up to the couple and said to them, with a smirk as she held the prize in her hand, "So, what I'm wondering is Percy......Ellie......that first quest you went on, beginner's luck, wasn't it?"

By this time, Percy was able to stand on his own and held hands with his girlfriend. Adriana said to the over-confident girl, crossing her arms, "Clarisse, they saved Olympus. That's more than you ever done. And I would hate to remind you that Ellie's father is the ruler of all of the gods. So, you wouldn't want to cross paths with her father, now, do you?" Clarisse only stared at Adriana then glanced at Percy, Grover, then at Ellie. Ellie stared at Clarisse with a hint of sadness and betrayal in her eyes. Clarisse didn't have the heart to apologize to Ellie in front of Ellie's friends so she denied it. She said, pushing through the friends, "Whatever." She shoved Ellie with her shoulder, almost knocking Ellie to the ground. Luckily, Percy reacted quickly and grabbed Ellie's hand, before she landed on the ground, and helped her to her feet.

Grover started to say something about Clarisse, upset that she had said that to Percy and Ellie. Adriana beat him to it and said to her two friends, "Don't listen to her, Percy and Ellie. She doesn't know who she's talking to." Ellie only sighed and replied, "Thanks, guys, but you're not helping. I've gotta go. Gotta do a thing at the cabin." She didn't want to admit it but Clarisse's words had hit her hard and it took a lot for her to say that. Percy said, going to follow his girlfriend as she ran ahead of him, "Ellie! Lena! Slow down!" Adriana, Annabeth, and Grover watched the couple with sadness in their eyes. They knew that Ellie was going through a lot at the moment, with her duties as princess. Ever since they saved Mt. Olympus, Zeus wanted his daughter to take her role as his heir and she's being going downhill since.
