The Ningen Program (Based Off Domics)

Chapter 1- The Ningen Program

         As overpopulation began to desolate the world, The Ningen Progran began. The program was created to control the population and minimize damage to the peoples trust in their government. At birth, the parents chose a 'plan', which dictated what age their child would be slaughtered and turned into a Ningen Meal.
         Each person was given a different grade based on their families grade. High class Ningen are given A to A- grades. Upper middles are given B to B- grades. Middles are given C to C- grades. Lower middles are given D to D- grades. And finally lowers are given F grades.
       Over time, a few people slowly began to lose faith in the Ningen program, becoming Anti-Ningenist. These people, if found, are slaughtered or arrested on the spot. The government slowly became more possessive and began to force parents to chose plans based on their status. With upper to upper middles chosing programs that last til their 80s. Middle to lower middles chosing programs that lasted til their 60s. And lowers being forced into programs that lasted til they were in their 40s. As time passed, the lower class began to revolt against these prejudices and had what the goverment called "unlawful birthing" which was when a lower class ningen would have their child at home, and hide it from the government. More often than not, the children are found and sent into foster care or orphanages while their parents are trialed and even turned into Ningens against their programs.
          The children that were not found, were kept secret and hidden amougst society. Unbeknownst to the government, around 25% of the lower class citizens were of "unlawful birthing" and lived amoungst society in secrecy.
           When the government caught wind of the situation, Ningen hunting began. The "unlawful birth" children were hunted down and their parents were forced to sign their program, but if they denied, the "unlawful birth" was terminated on the spot.
         One "Unlawful Birth" a young boy by the name of Jai (pronounced like Jay), he had deep set blue eyes and dark brown hair, swooping to the side. He was born to a couple by the name of Mari and Lou, 2 lower class "unlawful birth" that had managed to survive. Jai lived a very difficult life from everyone else, he grew up in his parents house, all the time. He didnt play outside like the Ningen children.  He didnt socialize with anyone accept his parents and grand parents.
