Today was the day, my first day at school. My parents divorced 1 month ago, and I decided to live with my dad since the relationship between me and my mom has been pretty bad lately, and my dad lived in North Carolina so I moved into his house there.
I was excited, but very nervous at the same time, what would all these people think about me? What if no one wanted to talk to me? I didn't know anyone in North Carolina, it was just me and my dad.
Since it was my first day at school, my dad wanted to drive me, and I didn't resist because I barely knew the name of the college, so it was kind of necessary.
I started to get ready. I wore my favorite blouse with some light washed, destroyed high-waisted jeans. I usually don't put any make-up on, but I decided to put on some mascara and eyeliner. I was ready.
I got more and more nervous every minute, and when I sat in the car, my heart was beating really fast. It took us 20 minutes to get there. There was a big sign in front of me and it said: "Western Guilford High School"
I gave my dad a hug and then I got out of the car. I walked towards the school. No one was outside, which means I'm late and it's only my first day, how great.
I walked through the hallways and tried to find my English class in room 426 with Mrs. July, I walked around, I walked up the stairs and down but I could still not find it, I had to run to the reception, I have never been this stressed before, I was just running, it felt like I couldn't see anything in front of me. I ran down the stairs and I accidentally ran into the hottest guy I've probably ever seen, I dropped everything, my bag, my papers and everything, it was the most embarrassing moment of my life, I bent down to pick everything up, and he helped me.
