Bad news

A couple days go by, I'm currently in my last class of the day. The bell will be going off, in less the 5 minutes. I was in my own little world, when I felt something hit the side of my face. I look up to Anna, and seen a smirk on her face. She looked in the direction, of my table then looked back up. I looked down, and sitting there was a note.

So I picked up the letter and opened it and read it.

"You didn't hear this from me, but the last couple of days there's rumours that Owen could possibly be a vampire!".  Anna written.

I looked up at her confused, then I looked down. I then thought back, to when my dad told me that vampires, and werewolves despise each other. I wrote back the the piece of paper.

"What do you mean he could possibly mean, he is a vampire and who started the rumour?". I wrote back.

I pass the note back, and I observe Anna read the note, and looked up and shrugged. Kinda confused and worried, I sat back and started thinking. I didn't realise the time when the bell went off, I packed my stuff up and left.

After class Anna, Ontari, James and I, just arrived at Pops. They got out while I turned off the car, I learned over and grabbed my bag and got out of the car. I made my way towards the diner. Once inside I sat down, and looked at the menu while talking to my friends. Just as we ordered, Anna mindlink me and told me that Owen was here. So I turned and scanned the area, and spotted him sitting on the other side of the diner with a group of people.

Going back to the conversation, Anna and I had earlier. I started noticing stuff, like the way he spoke the way he looked. It was like he could feel my eyes, on him when he turned and looked up at me. That was when I turned, back to my group of friends.

Later on I got up, and left to go home. I walked outside to my car started, to look through my keys to find the right one. I found the key that I was looking for, just before I put the key in the door. The back of my neck started to feel cold, I looked at the window I didn't see anyone, when I heard the all to familiar voice say my name.

I turned around a little frightened,

"What are you doing you!". I said.

"You look different". Owen said

"Yeah because we don't hang out on a daily basis". I said

Up close I notice he smelt different, that's when I blurted it out.

"Are you a vampire"?. I said.

"Now why would you say that". Owen said. With a slight smirk on his face, then his smirk disappeared.

"Because you don't walk, and talk like a normal human. Apart from seeing you, inside the school buildings I don't see you much in the sunlight. You don't eat so I'm just curious". I said.

This time I'm looking at him, directly into his eyes. And the look on his face, was telling me I know that he knows that I know something.  He took I step closer, when I took a Step back. When I did my back hit my car door. I looked at the car then, back Up to him when I notice how close he is.

"You're right". Owen said. Just as he said that he vanished.

I turned around and quickly, got into my car and drove home.
