"Honey wake up or you will be late for school!".I hear my mom say from down stairs,but I just ignore her.Well my name is Candice. My friend,Skyline calls me Candy and I call her Sky .You might think that we are good at making people's names shorter ,but it took us long enough to find the perfect nickname for each other .Its my first day at Fairmont Highschool and I am glad that Sky made it in the school too ." Candice wake up !"Oh I forgot that Sky was going to fetch me so that we could walk to school together. I quickly hop out of bed ,brush my teeth and wash my face. I put my school uniform and run down stairs to see my angry mom in the kitchen. "Did you set an alarm?" ,my mom said looking at me as if I had just broke her favorite vase. "Yes.....no",I say,scared on what she will say next." Next time remember ",she said. Its not everyday that my mom spares me just like that,but when she gets angry I know that its for my own good .I quickly eat my breakfast in time for Sky to come.
