C-nineteen

Yunlan bow in respect to the old Minister of the Ren province.

"Your highness, Captain Yunlan...I'm glad that you choose my humble residence for your short staying in the Ren province.." Minister How to greet them.

"His Highness needs to rest now...can you please guide as to where the room is?" Shenwei asked looking at Xincen who's very pale right now...

"I'm a sorry heavenly doctor.
, my servant will take you there...." Minister How said.

Shenwei and Yunlan follow the servant that show their grand rooms, .

"It's fine we can share on one," Yunlan said while he lay Xinxen on the bed...
Shenwei checks Xinxen pulse...

"He's fine, he just needs some rest..." Shenwei said. Yunlan nods.

Yunlan sits on the table cross by the Old minister.
"What did you want to talk about?" Yunnan asked...

"What is your purpose? why you let the Previous King left his manor...you to know the danger that will wait for you?!" Minister How said.

"I don't care...what matters for me right now is the vow that I will protect and take care of them.." Yunlan said.

Shenwei picks some herbal medicine in the garden...
"I can make some tea on this...it can help Xinxen..." Shenwei saw a small white flower and happily pick it...then he smells it and smiles...
He saw Yunlan walking in the hall,.

"Phsycho!!" Shenwei calls Yunlan to stop and look at him.
"What are you doing?" Yunlan asked.,
"I just want to pick up some herbal plants here it might help Xincen for a while.." Shenwei said still smiling while his face is getting closer and closer to Yunlan...

"What are you-"Yunlan eyes widen when Shenwei lips stop an inch away from his...Yunlan looks at Shenwei eyes...

" You know...I hate the smell of blood..."Shenwei whisper then move away after putting a white flower on Yunlan's hair before he steps back and giggles none stop like a kid...

Yunlan who mesmerized by what he just deed look at Shenwei then his hands accidentally touch the small white flower that Shenwei put on his hair...Shenwei stop on laughing,

"In my world, we call it Sampaguita...it was white and small yet having a strong nice scent...perfect for you...keep it..it can hide the smell of blood," Shenwei said..before leaving Yunlan who still looking at the small white flower. Yunlan smile...then he put the white flower inside the Aspirin bottle that Shenwei gave.

Xinxen eyes get wide he immediately sits when he saw Zhujue sitting at his bedside.
"How?!"Xincen did not finish his words when Zhujue smile.

" it's been a long time your Highness!"Zhujue said...

"What did you want?" Xincen asked.

"I want your dear Captain's life," Zhujue said like it was nothing.

"Please don't hurt them..!" Xincen said.

" You commit a great crime...because you disobey the Kings order..but there is a chance for you to live....order your loyal Captain to drink this poison instead of you, "Zhujue said

"No...please..." Xinxen pleads his eyes starting to moist.

"Knowing your loyal dog, he will drink it with no doubt just to save you." Zhujue gives the small bottle of poison to Xinxen...before he leaves the kid with a smirk...

Shenwei went inside their room, his steps became big approaching the child when he saw that he vomit blood..he checks his pulse...his eyes widen..he immediately opens his robe and saw some red bruises like it burn inside...

"What happened?! Yunnnlaaan!!!" Shenwei historically called...

Yunlan came rushing approaching them he saw Xinxen still vomiting blood while Shenwei is looking at him with tears in his eyes...

"Who did this?! You're fine a moment ago?!'Yunlan asked...He touches an empty bottle at the bedside...

" it's...hurt... it's....hhhhuuurttt."Xinxen cried.

"Do something... you're a heavenly Doctor!!!" Yunlan said while holding Xinxen.

"I don't know...I never cured a poisoned person....and I'm not familiar with what kind of poison is that.." Shenwei said...

"It was a kind of poison that will make suffer the person you poisoned..it will burn all the internal organs slowly..."Yunlan said.

" His bruises are like burned skin....it was a strong acid...I might weaken the acid...stay here I will get some cold water.."Shenwei said before he runs out leaving them alone...

"Captain.....can...you....tell.., me...more...about...the....heaven..." Xinxen asked in a low voice...he didn't see Yunlan tears falling because he still hugged gently by him...

"In heaven.....there house's is so high, ...its almost reach the sky....it also has their color and lights...without a fire.....you can see many carriages that still running....without horses.." Yunlan whisper in his ear..still embracing the child...

"I....wish I.....can go...... they're also..." Xincen said...

"You will...cause you're a good kid.," Yunlan said.

"Captain.....please...It's so hurt....help me.....please..."xincen pleading after vomiting of blood again...Yunlan hugged him.

" I'm sorry.....after this, there will be no more pain.."Yunlan whisper before he Stabs Xinxen straight in the heart with his knife...He cried and hugged him before he let go of his breathless body. he wipes his knife and his hand with a cloth,

Shenwei came with a pail of cold water that he drops when he saw Yunlan wiping his hand full of blood with a knife. He saw Xinxen lifeless body...

"We have to go... it's no longer safe here," Yunlan said with an emotionless face...

"What have you've done?!" Shenwei eyes look at Yunlan asking for an explanation...

"You kill him!.." Shenwei tears started to fall...Yunlan steps forward but Shenwei steps backward while Shaking his head...

"No!! don't come near me!!! dont you dare touch me with that hand!!" Shenwei screams while crying. Yunlan eyes Widen when Shenwei runs outside leaving him behind...

"Wait!! come back here!" Yunlan called while he tries to run after Shenwei...

Shenwei runs while looking behind at Yunlan who still running after him he did not see that someone crosses his way...and catch him...

"Not so fast my dear ⁿ" Zhujue smirk while Shenwei eyes widen he tries to get out of Zhuijue's hold but he can't...

"You!!! leave him alone! Yunlan angrily moves as fast as he could and attack Zhuijue.
