Tony
".....It means no worries!" I sang.
"For the rest of your days!" Peter sang happily.
We were having some quality time since I had been away on a lot of missions lately. It was nice having some father and son time. But a super cool superhero can't ever just have a peaceful night with his 6-year-old son, can he? No because suddenly the window broke and I had to throw myself in front of Peter to make sure he wouldn't get any glass on him. Luckily it didn't shatter so far so we both were fine.
"Are you okay?" I asked Peter.
He nodded. I turned around only to see the Iron monger standing in my living room. Not Obadiah. But his son Ezekiel. He had an upgraded version of his dad's armor.
"Knock knock" he said.
I sucked in a breath. On the field I could most likely take him down. But with a shivering Peter behind me in my living room it complicated things.
"What do you want Ezekiel?" I asked.
"Oh nothing. I just came for your Irin man blueprints" he said.
Yeah this ain't gonna be pretty. I turned back to Peter who was terrified.
"Hey kiddo I need you to listen to me okay? We're gonna play a game" I said trying not to sound stressed.
"Dad I don't wanna play a game" Peter said sad, probably knowing that the situation was a bit dangerous.
"I know kiddo, I know. But I need you to go and hide okay. And don't come out until I come and find you" I said sympathetically.
"But dad...." Peter said before the very loud thud of Ezekiel stepping closer interrupted.
"Peter do as I say and RUN!!!!" I snapped and pointed towards the hallway.
Peter thankfully ran away and I tapped on my chest to get my suit on.
Peter
I ran as quick as I could. Dad was fighting the scary iron monster that had come into our living room uninvited. Even though I know my dad is really strong and have kicked a lot of butts, I still wanted to help him. But he didn't seem like he wanted my help. So I did what he told me and ran towards my room where I locked myself in my closet. Usually when me and dad play hide and seek I always hide here. Dad always has to walk around my entire room, asking out loud where I am. So it should be safe enough. My room is very far from the living room, but I could still hear the scary sounds if my dad fighting the monster. The sounds came more often. He's gonna beat it. He's Iron Man, so he can beat every bad guy he meets. After a while I heard dad yell out, he sounded like he was in pain. I gasped and wondered if I should go out and help him. Usually dad's friends from work help him fight bad people. But they weren't here now. So maybe I could? I opened the door to my closet and peeked outside to see if there was anyone else in my room. When I didn't see anyone I carefully stepped out and tiptoed over to my other closet. If I was gonna help dad I couldn't just wear my lion king PJs. I opened my closet and looked in the box where my roller skates were. In the box I found both a blue helmet with green spikes, black knee and elbow protection. After putting that on I grabbed my pillow and tied it to my stomach with a belt. I then looked around my room to see if I could find anything to fight with. I saw the red, white and blue shield my dad had bought for me from Toys R Us. If uncle Steve uses his to fight, maybe I could use this one. I grabbed the shield and when I did I saw the orange nerf gun next to it. I smirked and took it as well. Now that I had everything I needed to help my dad fight the Iron monster in our living room I took a quick look in the mirror before I started heading for the door. But then I heard heavy metallic footsteps. And I remembered mine and mama spider's movie night
"Remember Peter, best way to catch your enemies of guard. Use the element of surprise"
So I hid behind my closet door and listened as the footsteps stopped outside my door. I held in a gasp as the door opened and the footsteps stepped inside. I took a deep breath. Be brave Peter. Be like dad.
"AAAAAAHHH!!!!" I yelled as I jumped out of my hiding spot and started shooting at the person who had walked inside my room.
I even threw my shield at him.
"Peter, Peter!! Calm down! It's just me" dad said.
I opened my eyes that I didn't realize I had closed. In front of me stood dad in his armor and by his feet layed all the nerf shots and my shield.
"Dad!" I yelled happily and dropped my nerf gun before I ran to hug him.
He bent down and hugged me back.
"What's all this buddy?" Dad asked looking at my outfit and pulled away.
"I....I know that you usually have help of your friends when you fight bad people. B-but none of them are here. So I thought that this time....I could help you" I explained.
"I see. You would....you would really have given him a hard time." Dad said with a smile before he got a serious look on his face. "But kid you did help me this fight"
"I did?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah. Knowing that you are safe helps me focus. And when I can focus I kick a lot more butt." Dad said.
"Well in that case....I did hide at my super-secret hiding place at first" I said.
"You did?" Dad asked and I nodded proudly. "Good job!" He said and patted my helmet.

So....
I'm having a hard time because I'm exposing myself to something I wish I didn't have to be around so much.
And I wish this was one of the things I could see is not good for me so I just take it out of my life. But I can't for....reasons. And I do not know how I'm gonna handle it. Hopefully good, but I doubt it since at the moment am not.
My parents are aware of this thing and they can't do much about it either, only try and support me. I can skip it sometimes but not much.
....
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
