Chapter 2

*Ariana's POV*

I've been homeschooled since I started living with Cal when I was 11. Now I'm 13 and ready to start school...maybe. Well anyways I have too. I've been her for 2 years and I have no friends except the guys. So today is the first day at my school Sydney Southwest Middle School (totally made that up)

I got out of bed and got dressed (picture above) brushed my teeth and grabbed an apple and headed to the bus stop. I was waiting by myself for a bit when this guy came up to me.

"Hi I'm Brain and you are?"

"Ariana."

"Nice to meet you Ariana. First day?"

"Yeah, I've been homeschooled my whole life."

"Wow, you must be nervous."

"Not really. Like fuck whoever hates me." I smiled and Brain chuckled.

"So you like the badass type or the music type?" He said checking me out.

"Both. Why?"

"Well at school we've got this kid, Skylar Downs he's the school badboy. He doesn't date but girls drool over him. He smokes, drinks, does drugs, you name it. He's a freak. Just stay with me and you will be fine."

"Umm okay." I said unsurely about this guy. The bus finally came and we got on and sat together.

After we finally got to school Brain showed me my locker then went to his. As I was putting my stuff into my locker, everyone in the halls went quiet. I turned around confused and saw everyone at either side of the halls making a path way, but for who? I turned back to my locker and saw Brain.

"Look that's Skylar." He pointed out the guy walking in the middle of the hall with no emotion whatsoever. He kinda looked like Luke honestly. He was tall, had blonde hair in a quiff, had blue eyes, had tanish skin, they could probably be twins. He looked at me and kept walking. We held our stare for awhile, till he broke it.

"Woah." I barely got out.

"Mmmhm what everyone says."

*Lunch*

I sat with Brain and his friends outside, with everyone pretty much. I was looking around and saw him, next to the door, smoking! WTF,!! This is a school!

"Does he always smoke at school?" I asked.

"Yeah, everyday. Right there. No where else." One of Brain's friends said.

"Why doesn't anyone stop him?"

"You can't stop him. Trust me teacher, girls, the police have tried. No luck." Brain said.

"He could die."

"We know, but no one cares." Brain said. I looked at Brain and stood up. "I'll be back."I stared walking towards Skylar, him staring right at me and me staring back. In the background I can hear Brain and his friends calling my name. When I approached Skylar he gave me a cold look. He put the ciggerette back in his mouth and just stared at me. I smacked the ciggeratte out of his mouth and said " You're gonna kill yourself" and walked inside, with everyone outside shocked. Especially Skylar.
