Chapter 2

*Veronica POV*

In the next few days Mandy and I had our luggage packed and we were currently at my house.

My mom and I were still inside the house.
"Ok sweety, I baked you guys some cupcakes so you could take them with you". My mom said smiling sweetly at me.

"Thanks mom, I love you"

My mom broke into tears as I said that and watching her broke  my heart causing me to cry with her and wrap my arms around her small frame.

"I love you too honey" She said in between sobs.

"Promise me, you will take care of yourself".

"Mom, I will be fine, take care of dad and yourself okay?" My mom nodded her head as the answer to what I said.
"Let's go outside before the rest comes to drag us out" my mom said making us laugh a little.

I went outside and saw my dad and Mandy's dad arranging our luggage in the car trunk.

Mandy and her were approaching as they went further  to talk. Their eyes were also red so am guessing they had a talk similar to my mom and I's.

Our parents decided not to follow us to the airport as they won't be able to take it, their words not mine.

So we hugged each other, while I was hugging my dad he whispered softly that, and I quote "I hope the rule of introducing the guys is still intact"

"And have you scaring them?" I giggled.

"Oh common honey" we both laughed.

"Don't worry dad, Its still intact"

My dad finally entangled from me. We waved our parents and entered the car,  and we drove to airport, my parent's driver to be precised drove to airport.

Mandy and I comforted each other, everyone with their own thoughts.

Right now we were on the plane, Mandy was sitting in the window side bouncing up and down with excitement.

"Oh my God, I am so excited! I know just what we should do after we get settled in". Mandy beamed at me clapping her hands together like a little child.

I shook my head at her  and smile, "And what might that be, Mandy?"

"We are going to a party, ooh I can't wait for those hot, smoking guys" she sighed dreamily.

I rolled my eyes at her, what else was I even expecting. "Am not even surprised"

"Don't worry, am going to get you a boyfriend".

She kept talking and I kept rolling my eyes at her till I fell asleep.

"Hey V, we need to get down, we are here". Mandy kept shaking me till I was fully awake.

The plan was for Mandy's brother Henry to come pick us, he was also  the one who helped us in getting our apartment all set. Henry also attends UCLA and he is in his third year.

"There's henry!" Mandy screamed loudly as we approached henry, who then hugs her tightly spinning her around, he drops her and with a stupid grin, he did the same to me.

I could see people staring and pointing at us with the way we were screaming but we were having a great time, so who cares.

"I have missed you guys so much" apparently henry hasn't visited home since the last six month.

"We have missed you too hen" Mandy and I replied making us make contacts before bursting into laughter.

We loaded our luggage in the truck Hen borrowed and he drove  us  our apartment.

We were all settled down in our apartment, the closest apartment he could find was a 3 bedroom one, so I guess we are going to have a room mate and  Henry being the best guy ever has helped us in furnishing our apartment that we didn't need to do anything well except to but the toiletries and some food stuffs but that's something small.

Henry took us to a small diner, where we all talked about each other's lives then he went home after dropping us with a promise that he's going to come back tomorrow to take us out for breakfast.

Mandy and I went into our rooms after wishing ourselves goodnight as we were both so tired with the trip.

I changed into a cute pajamas and flopped on the bed and I was immediately drawn into the dreamland.
