"Get your butt out of bed right now young lady!" My Mom shouts at me from the kitchen. I groan and get out of bed. I'm dreading today. I moved to a new school 2 weeks into my senior year. I was finally receiving all the perks of being a senior; I was a varsity cheerleader, varsity softball player, and an honors acting member! I literally tried and did anything that I could there. I had great friends an amazing boyfriend who decided that a long distance relationship is "pointless" and "stupid." It took forever for me to get over him; he was the star soccer player that made girls go crazy just with a smile. And out of all the girls in school to have his heart he gave it to me, and I'm just a girl that was overweight and when she wasn't doing anything spent all the time in the music building. He said that he always knew that he wanted me, but he thought that I didn't like him! Which was crazy! He was the cutest boy in school and he said that he loved me through everything, but when I moved he just dropped me like a fly. I loved. In fact I still love him today. I finished my shower and did my usual hairstyle, bangs braided and hair loosely curled. I apply my makeup a little thicker today since it's my first day, and the fact that I have to start wearing a uniform. I rush down stairs to see my everyone eating, and talking as usual.
"Good morning Natbutter!" My dad says sweeter than usual; I think it's because I'm still not over moving but I dismiss it and hug him tightly. I'm in the middle of eating my toast coved in butter (hence the nickname!) when I look at my watch I have twenty minutes to get to a school I have no idea where it's at!
"Jacob lets go!" I tell him.
"Just let me finish my yogurt, then we can leave." he snaps back.
"Ugh, just eat it in the car. We don't have all day you know!' I say even madder than when I woke up. This whole move has been stressful, and as much as I would love to sit in the house all day I'm ready to get senior year over with so I go to college and finally live my life the way I want to.
I finally make to this hell hole that people actually seem to be very fond of. I park in visitors because I'm not walking that far plus I don't even have a parking permit yet here. I walk into the front office, and I'm greeted by a woman whose wearing way to much makeup and her outfit is something that a woman twenty years younger than her would wear.
"Hello young lady" My thoughts are interrupted.
"Hi, I was wondering where do i get my schedule. My Mom got me registered for everything I just have to pick up my schedule is what she said."
"And what's your name miss?" she asks.
"Natalie Grace Wood"
"Ah yes! The senior whose involved with all those extra curricular activities! West Jones is Happy to have you here!" She says a little to fake to me, but I graciously accept my schedule. As soon as I'm about to leave I ran into some. Great. Just great. What an amazing way to start my school year off here.
"I'm so sorry! I should've paid more attention to where I was going, and I'm-"
"You're straight, no big deal." He says while bending over to pick up the massive about of books and papers that have just scattered the floor. I immediately squat down and help him.
"Colt Webb" He says while smiling.
"Natalie Grace" I say with a smile right back.
When he stands up I finally see all of his features his piercing blue-green eyes in comparison to his brown hair. The way he towers over me which is hard to do especially since I'm 6'0.
"Whatcha looking at? I know I'm pretty and all" Busted. I know I was staring and probably drooling over him, but I couldn't help it I mean he's even cuter than Jakie. I push him out of my mind as fast as I can
"Oh nothing. I was just wondering how do I get around this school." I say and look to floor. He makes me nervous, and being an athlete and performer it's very hard to make me nervous. Even Jakie the "hot" guy of hte school didn't make me nervous.
"Let me see" He says as he scans over my schedule the cuted little wrinkle appears on his forehead. Cutest little wrinkle? Natalie Grace Wood why are you saying that about a boy you just met get it together!
'We have almost the same schedule!" He says and the biggest smile comes over face. He's so adorable. Really Natalie adorable?! Come on!
"Yay! That's great! Could you show me around school?" I ask trying not to be a bother or anything to him.
"Sure." He says and interrupt's my thoughts he smiles. His smile is so beautiful I could look at him all day.
Thank you I say as I blush
"Awe Is someone blushing?" He says in a really high pitched way.
"No, it's just hot in here. Don't you think?" I nervously say looking at the floor
"Yeah. Sure." He says while dragging out the words.
I'm already falling for someone that I don't even know. And I think I like it.
