***Sam's P.O.V***
"You ready to go?" Erin asked with his keys in hand. I smiled at him excitedly.
"Oh, yeah. I am so ready for this, dude." I replied and put on my shoes.
"Oh by the way, Anna says hi." I look up at him as I speak, putting on my other shoe.
"Anna wanted to say hi to me?" He said with a smile, his cheeks a light shade of pink.
"I think someone likes me sister!" I laughed and teased him playfully.
"Shut up, Sam." He said playfully hitting me while I laughed.
When we were done getting our shoes on, we walked outside and got into his car. Erin then pushed a button and the top of the car came down.
I smiled at him as he started up the car and sped off. The cool wind blew my brown hair into my face, causing me to laugh.
"WOOHOO!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as Erin laughed. We drove wherever we could as fast as we could. This car is sick.
***Anna's P.O.V.***
"So why do you sing in bars?" I ask Niall, and take a sip of my Coke.
"I don't just sing in bars. I sing wherever there's an opening that's willing to pay." He explains and I nod in response.
"So why don't you just audition for X-Factor? You would definitely win." I tell him with a smile. He kindly returns it.
"I don't know that I'm good enough for that." He said looking down at the table. I put my hand on his and he looks up into my eyes.
"You are good enough, Niall. Did you see all those people standing up and dancing when you were on the stage? They all were screaming and clapping and whistling for you. They love you. It would be a great opportunity to live your dream." I say and he smiles at me.
"You really think I could do it?" He asks smiling.
"I know you can." I tell him and return his smile. Niall slowly starts to lean in. I copy his actions, keeping my excitement inside.
BEEP!
We quickly moved away as my phone went off. I looked at it and saw a text from Sam. I looked up at Niall who was already looking at me with concerned eyes.
"I'm sorry. It's my brother. He needs me." I apologized feeling really horrible about having to leave.
"Don't worry about it. Family comes first, I completely understand." He said smiling and I returned it.
"Thank you so much for understanding, Niall. It was nice meeting you!" I told him as I started to walk away.
"Wait!" He called from behind me and I turned around to see him running towards me.
"Will I ever see you again?" He says once he gets to me. I smile and stare into his bright blue eyes.
"It's possible." I tell him and he smiles at me.
"I hope so." He whispers and I turn around back around, walking away towards the bar doors.
"I never asked your name!" He called I turned around walking backwards.
"Anna. Anna Dawson." I tell him and walk out the door, wondering when I will see the blonde boy that is called, Niall Horan.
I walk to my car across the street and grab my keys. Once inside my car, I check my phone for anymore messages. None. Better get going then.
I started my car, clicked my seat belt in place, and drove to Erin's house to see what was going on with Sam.
*AT ERIN'S HOUSE*
I parked my car in the street, in front of Erin's house, and got out with my bag slug across my shoulder.
I walked up to the house and rang the doorbell, waiting for someone to answer the door. I heard Erin's dog, Wolf, start barking. Wolf is a husky puppy, and honestly, one of the cutest dogs ever.
Sam opened the door and smiled. I smiled back and pulled him into a hug immediately asking questions.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did something happen? Is Erin okay? Is he hurt? Are-" I started to ask every question that came to my mind.
"We're fine, Anna." He said chuckling. I smiled at him thankful that no one was hurt.
"Who was at the door?" Erin said walking out of the kitchen with a bag of chips in his hand. He dropped the chips as soon as he laid eyes on me. I smiled at him and opened up my arms.
"What? No bear hug?" I said giggling as he practically ran over, wrapping his arms around me so tight. I hugged him back as tight as I could.
"How have you been? I missed seeing my little dorks together." I said as we pulled away from the hug smiling.
"I've been pretty good actually. Just got a job at the pool so that's awesome." He said smiling.
"That's great! So why did you call me over here?" I said looking at Sam, who was now smirking.
"No reason. We were going to have a bonfire and Erin wanted to invite you over." He said looking at Erin. I looked from Sam, to Erin who was now glaring at Sam. I couldn't help but smile at him. He looked at me and smiled awkwardly, his cheeks becoming a light shade of pink.
I walked over and ruffled up his hair then headed into the kitchen. Sam and Erin followed behind me. I sat at the table and rested my head on my hand looking at the two boys standing in front of me.
"Do you want something to drink?" Erin asked me, his cheeks still a shade of pink. I smiled and nodded.
"Sure. I'll just have some water, thanks." I told him and he went straight to the fridge, grabbed a water bottle, and handed it to me smiling. I returned the smile and thanked him for the water. He's such a sweet kid.
"Shall we go outside and get this partay started?" Sam said, doing a little dance, causing me and Erin to laugh.
"Sure." I said while still laughing a little bit. I helped them carry come firewood to the pit and placed it down inside.
Once we had all the firewood we needed, Erin lit the wood and grabbed some chairs for us to sit around the fire with. I sat down in my chair and looked at the fire, then up at Sam and Erin. I smiled at them, being great full for them in my life.
Without them, I don't know what I would do. They make my life complete and fun. I love Sam so much, and we don't even fight, which I am also great full for. Because if we did fight, it would just make our lives ten times worse than it already is.
I'm just glad I have such great people in my life to distract me from everything bad, and help me remember that there are good people out there.
That my life doesn't have to evolve around my father beating us up for no reason. That I can live my life to the fullest and make it through anything.
Maybe my life will finally change. Maybe everything will go the way I want it.
Maybe, just maybe, everything will finally be..
Perfect.
