(Second Person POV)
You arrived at '8 Eleven', easily seeing the big number 8 and the illuminating red, white green, and orange lights coming from the front of the store now that it was night time. You pushed the door, mentally facepalming yourself when the sign clearly said "pull".
You could feel the cold air coming from the air conditioner that's probably been turned on for hours already. You walked through the aisles, looking for the chips your dad had told you to get. After picking out some, you brought them to the cashier, along with a can of soda.
"Oh you're here, Kuroo-san! Your dad's in need of chips again?" The kind male cashier whom you got acquainted with ever since you moved in asked, wearing a wide smile.
"Ah yes," you replied, rubbing the back of your head.
He chuckled. "I see. Kuroo-san's not with you? I mean your cousin who is also a Kuroo-san."
You shook your head. "Nope! He's currently at practice but I think they're about to wrap up any time soon," you replied.
The male simply nodded before taking the chips and soda and scanning their bar code.
"Alrighty, that'll be 759 yen," he said, looking at the cash register and then at you.
"Okie!" you replied enthusiastically. You pulled out the 759 yen from your wallet and paid for your things. "Thanks!" you said, before rushing out the door.
"You forgot the receipt! Oh well, whatever- Come back soon!" he said, waving at you.
On your way back to your house, you dropped by the little stall an old lady, who was also your neighbor had owned, hoping they aren't closed yet in search of your vegetables.
"Hello? Old lady? Are you guys closed, yet?" you asked in a louder tone than usual, hoping she heard you from inside her home.
The old woman opened the door to her house and saw you outside. "Huh? Who are you?"
"Um.. It's me! Kuroo (Y/N)! I moved here recently?" you replied, waving at her.
The granny wore a gummy smile. "Oh it's just you, (Y/N)! The girl who helped me with my groceries before! Yes, I know you. I'm sorry I couldn't recognize you sooner! It's already night time and I can't seem to find my glasses."
You smiled back. "Ah, it's alright!"
"You need vegetables, correct? The usual?" she asked.
You nodded. "Yep!"
"Ah, wait here for a while," the old woman said, before disappearing out of your sight as she slowly walked further into her house.
You patiently waited for the old lady to come back. Sooner than expected, she came out of the door and arrived at the front of her house with two plastic bags in her hand. "Here you go, you beautiful girl."
You took the bags from the old woman and looked inside to see cabbages, carrots, onions, ginger, tomatoes, bell peppers, and broccoli. It was more than enough and it felt quite heavy. You were surprised that the elderly woman could carry all of this from wherever she came from to here in a jiffy.
"You're probably thinking about how I can carry all of that quickly without me feeling pain of any sort so for your information, I do Zumba in the morning," the old lady stated in a proud manner.
You chuckled. "I see. Well, thank you!" you said cheerfully, before looking into your wallet to get your money to pay for the vegetables.
'Oh shoot. I'm low on the money department right now,' you thought.
