By now,mostly everyone knows that the animatronics come to life because of the children spirits that posses them.What no one knows is who did it.Who killed the children?
People have said that they think the security guard in the first game(Mike) did it or that the security guard in Fnaf2(Jeremy)did it.The most popular theory is that either Phone Guy did it or someone else killed the children.
I think that someone else killed them because of the one phone call you receive on night 5
Here's the phone call:
Hello, hello? Hey, good job, night 5! Um, hey, um, keep a close eye on things tonight, ok? Um, from what I understand, the building is on lockdown, uh, no one is allowed in or out, y'know, especially concerning any...previous employees. Um, when we get it all sorted out, we may move you to the day shift, a position just became...available. Uh, we don't have a replacement for your shift yet, but we're working on it. Uh, we're going to try to contact the original restaurant owner. Uh, I think the name of the place was..."Fredbear's Family Diner" or something like that. It's been closed for years though, I doubt we'll be able to track anybody down. Well, just get through one more night! Uh, hang in there! Goodnight!

The Phone Guy mentions not to let in any previous employees.Maybe the killer worked there(most likely) and was suspected of the murders.Also,Phone Guy mentions to Jeremy(Fnaf 2 security guard) that he will be switched to the day shift since the position is aviable.The killer had to work dayshift.
Now here's the problem:Is the killer Phone Guy or is it someone else?
In the mini games,sometimes you'll see this strange purple man(I'll put pictures on the side).In one of the mini games,he runs at the player with something in his hand.The object looks like a phone almost,which is the reason why people thinks it's Phone Guy
But it's not.It can't be.In the first game,on of the posters on the wall say the killer was arrested.How the hell is Phone Guy leaving you messages if he's arrested?Why would he helpyou live?
In my opinion,the purple guy is not Phone Guy.
