"This is a letter
To the ones that I've lost.
And I know it sounds selfish
But it truly is not.
I have lost the one I hold dear,
And I know those around me
Can't hear my prayer,
Unlike the ones I cannot see.
But I hope and I pray
That you may heed
My childish wish
That may never come true.My childish wish
Is for you to come home,
Is for you to hold me,
Is for you to smile with me,
Is for you to tell me everything's okay,
Even when it's not!You can't come back,
So may I come join you?
Nothing's alright,
Nothing's okay!
I need you,
And you're not there. Why wish for something,
That'll never happen?
Why hope and pray
For something impossible? So I hand this rope over my ceiling fan,
And I clutch your dog tags.
My neck goes into the hole of the rope,
as though it had been waiting an eternity.
I think of all the people that I'll hurt,
But I need to see you again.I'm sorry guys, but none of you could've saved me."
