Should I stay

Chapter Four

Before I started with my plan, I have to go over to the court to meet up with all of my families' lawyers. I really don't understand why my family had lawyers, everyone's children were too good to get into any mess with the law. But better to be safe than sorry, I guess.
Judge Cynthia Burns went to her special place, the center of everyone's attention. She was wearing a thick, black robe that made her pale skin stand out. You can tell she had been crying from her red puffy eyes. They were a brilliant color blue, like mines. After looking down for a minute, she started talking.
"This is a very special case. Since Miss Samantha is the last remaining member of the Hennison family, she will receive every single thing from the each families' will. This totals to over 3.4 billion dollars, four mansions, 8 dogs, and three businesses. You will recieve this in the next couple hours. If you have any objections to any of these things please speak now." The judge said, looking me right in the eye.
I wanted to say no to the dogs because I'm allergic, but I was still a little stunned.
"Good, you are free to go." And with that, she got up to leave.
I had to sit in the aisle for a couple of minutes to calm myself down. 3.4 billion dollars??? I can't handle that much money! I can barely handle the $20 in my purse! That has to be a mistake; I mean me, a teenager, 3.4 billion dollars!
"Judge! Wait!" I yelled out to her as she was heading out the room.
"Yes, sweetie?" She asked in a kinder voice.
"Did I hear that right? 3.4 billion dollars?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
"Correct indeed, ma'am! You are very lucky!" She said, finally heading out the door.
I wouldn't exactly used lucky to describe my situation. But my plan was going to be going into full motion as soon as that money comes in.
