As a dirty, brown-haired boy ran through the streets of the giant city Henderson, of Nevada, a mob of store employees chased after him with angry expressions, and shouted rather.........colorful words.
As Rambo raced around a corner, a familiar alleyway met his eyes, and he ran towards the stack of boxes that were inconspicuously placed at the end of the alleyway, and skidded the shopping cart to a stop.
Rambo quickly removed the boxes from atop each other and lifted the grey carpet that was hidden underneath that stack, revealing a long, slanted passageway that resembled a ramp, and he grabbed and pushed the shopping cart down it while he quickly stacked the boxes in front of the grey carpet as the shouts and footsteps of the mob grew closer and closer.
Rambo ducked under the carpet and let the colored fabric fall back into its original position before walking down the passageway with a huge grin forming on his face as he burst out into laughter, hearing the crowd's confusion as they finally rounded the corner themselves to see an empty alleyway, and at the end filled with boxes.
A few of the store employees went up to the boxes with baseball bats in their hands, ready to beat a certain boy, when they saw that no-one was behind it, except for another few boxes a tattered grey rug.
They all groaned in dissapointment and walked away, not hearing the fit of giggles that Rambo was in. Rambo soon collected himself and continued down the passageway, pushing the shopping cart deeper into the bunker-like area before the ground became level again, and he felt around the wall to his right for a light switch.
Yay. One of the Fantasy books that I'm making. Even though the teaser makes it seem like it's not even related to Fantasy, it is. Deal with it. Also, a tiny spoilers, is that Rambo has a dog named Kahali. I'll explain it a little bit in the desc. of this thing after I find the time, inspiration, and motivation to do so.
