It's been an hour since I've seen Popee cry, I can't stop thinking about it. I finally worked up the courage to go see him, I start walking to his tent, I open the curtain to see him sitting on his mattress crying still. I sit right next to him, and I softly put my hand on his back, he slightly turned his head to see me, he sits up and wipe his tears away. I look up at him, I quickly gave him a hug, he's surprised but is soon melts into it, he holds onto me with a tight grip,

And a soft tone i say.
"Hey so... can you tell me why you're crying"
Popee starts crying more gasping, I don't know why he's crying so much, But it hurts me so much to see him so upset.
"Well..."
He said in a shaky voice.
"Well- I-I. I LIKE YOU- I - I love you... I don't know what to do, i'm really confused about everything! I want to protect you, I want to keep you safe!"
He gripped on to me tighter, he likes me? But why? I don't get it, and it's out of the blue to.
"Please. don't cry"
You both sit there for an entire minute in silence. Well... at least I didn't do anything wrong, I feel a bit better knowing that,
"(Y/N)"
"Yeah?"
He moves in closer, and kisses you on your forehead.
"I'll be OK!"
He says. He gets up and walks out of the tent.

It's night time, nothing has happened since then, I can't get it out of my head like a whirlwind that I can't stop, like why, Why me? what's so special about me, you're laying down in the middle of the circus, staring at the stars!

Popee walks over to you and lays down, we both just stare at the stars,
"popee"
"yeah"
"What the hell would I be."
"What do you mean?"
"What Would I be without you, like come on!"
"well..."
Popee turns to see you, The night sky glowing on your skin like pearls, he stares and how beautiful it is,
"Why do you like me?"
"oh... I- I don't know,... if I was to be honest with you, I really don't know! I always denied it, it's just really confusing..."
"well...... I-I"
He Interrupts you!
"What if we run away together!?"
"Popee! don't you think that so soon? And what about the others,"
He sets up,
"Who cares what could they do!!"
You look at the sky, where would we even go? This is our home, it's not like we have a cabin anywhere. He stands up with a grip on his tail, he looks down with a really sad face,
"I'm going to bed, good night"
"Ok Good night"
You decide to sit down for a bit longer and stare at the stars, it's oddly calming smoothing and nice, you close your eyes, with a soft breeze flowing across your hair,

You open your eyes to see Kedamono standing right above you, oh crap I slept outside!!
"U ok?"
"Yeah sorry"
Kedamono grabs your hand to pull you up, You Turn to see Popee just coming out of his tent, he looks at you surprised, you both make Icontact,
"Hi"
you give him a gentle smile and a wave, he looks at you have a grumpy face and walks away, wow good thing to know he doesn't change, Papi walks over to both of you,
"What's going on"
"W.well..."
Kedamono speaks up,
"I walked outside to see her laying on the ground so I helped her out, is everything OK?"
"Yeah just wondering what's happening did you really sleep outside?"
"Yeah"
Popee Giggles a bit, he gives out his hand and they both help you up, not gonna lie that's kind of embarrassing. everything that happened last night I still can't stop thinking about it, runaway ha what an interesting idea,
"So what are we doing today"
You say,
"we're practising for a show"
Popee replies,
"A show to who? no one's gonna come out to the desert!"
"The frog of course, and Kedamono he mentioned on wanting to have a break recently, so it's just me and you,"
"Ok well... first we got to figure out a routine and then start practising, ok!"
You and Popee go on about talking and then you start practising soon enough it hit night time, nothing interesting really happened more a lot of fails and a lot of practice but practice makes perfect right?
The clothes you were wearing or like gymnastic clothes, and Popee was very set on wearing the same onesie,
Both of you walk on stage ready to do a type rope trick, you climb the ladder and step on the type rope, you start walking but you struggle but soon enough you're in the middle, you have a stick in your hand and you proceeded to put it in your mouth and put your hands wide-open, underneath you there is a pool of water which will you lands end, you sit down on the rope to take the stick out of your mouth and hold onto it by the rope, to make a fake walking sequence wire dangling, you finally fall down while doing a backflip,
Not very interesting what can you do in the circus out in the middle of the desert... you look over to Popee to see him let go of his tail you could see he was afraid, thought you were going to get hurt, Kedamono stands up and claps with his tail wagging behind him with a great big smile, wow Who knew such a simple trick would get them so excited,
You smile back and walk off, it was popee turn he was going to shoot through fire, I didn't want him to do it because it wasn't safe but mine wasn't safe either, he starts walking on the stage!!
Sorry to cut it off here this is 1000 words I wrote in enough to write on the second chapter immediately well not really second now lol!!!
