I struggled to stay awake during class and multiple times Hassani threw a piece of paper at me to keep me up. Thankfully, I wasn't caught and sent to detention. I really thought that the coffee Tsuki bought would keep me awake, at least until lunch.

The bell rang soon enough and Hassani turned to face me.

"Are you okay?" she asked as everyone started getting up to leave.

"Yeah, I'm just tired," I replied.

"Oh," Hassani nodded. "Maybe try taking a nap after you eat, but eat fast so you have enough time."

I stood up and yawned, "Okay, thank you."

"No problem," she answered then glared behind me.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing," Hassani sighed, "Yukki's just thinking he's slick back there."

I turned around to see him glance away. Yukki was definitely staring at me, great.

"Oh well, don't worry about him," she assured. "He's obviously intimidated by me and probably Tsukishima."

I nodded.

"Speaking of, look who's here," she spoke with a passionate tone.

I looked over and saw Kei standing in the doorway, then Hassani took my hand and pulled us over there. Wow, everyone seems to be pulling me around today. As we got to the door, Hassani saluted Tsukishima.

"I kept Yamaguchi awake the best I could!" she cheered.

"Huh?" Tsuki asked.

Hassani dropped her hand and explained, "He kept falling asleep in class, so I had to keep waking him up before anyone noticed."

"Ah, thank you,"

"No problem!"

After that, Hassani walked off and we went to our picnic table for lunch. Tsukishima was pretty silent as we walked, which worried me. Was he mad at me? Is he annoyed by Hassani? Is he upset about the Yukki thing? Wait . . .of course he's upset about that! I really don't want to talk about it though, but I have to.

We sat down and Kei had the things we got from this morning. He gave me mine and started eating his. Still silent. I stared at him for a minute, but he never looked up. Okay, here we go . . .

"Tsuki," I started.

"Yeah?" Kei asked, looking up at me.

"About what happened before class, the thing Hassani mentioned . . . I just want you to know that it wasn't as big of a deal she made it to be. He just," I paused.

"He just what?"

"He just, uh, he just hugged me,"

"Hugged you?"

"Yeah . . ."

"That's it?"

"Uh-huh,"

He nodded, "But why didn't you just tell me that before? Why did you run? You know I care about you and we shouldn't be keeping things from each other now."

I hate lying to you Kei, but it'll just make things more complicated. I don't want you to get hurt.

"W-Well, I just didn't want to start things that early I guess,"

Just tell him what's been happening. He'll help you. He just offered an opening, so take it. You can fix this. Stop the pain. Let him help you.
