Missing gilbert

chapter one-4 years

Jeremy gilbert was a normal child growing up. He and his twin sister Jessica would play and laugh for hours and would annoy there older sister. However one day when they were 12 years old they went out into the woods to play. Jeremy returned, Jessica did not. For  months they searched, no one to this day now what happened only that Jeremy turned round for a minute and she was gone.

Exactly four years later, Jeremy gilbert woke with bags round his red eyes. Last night he stayed up all night crying remembering what this day was. "Good morning Jeremy, how are you this morning "Elena whispered sympathetically. "I miss her, very much. Where is she, she couldn't have just disappeared" replied Jeremy with tears nearly welling in his eyes. "I know Jer, I miss her too. I have received an invite to a ball at the Mikalelsons tonight so I will be gone but don't do anything stupid. Head to school and be good" Elena lectured.

Jeremy picked himself out of bed and dragged himself too school. He could feel the stares as he tried to walk to his locker. Everyone felt sympathy for everything he had gone through but he just wanted everyone to stop. To be honest it made himself feel worse.

JEREMYS POV

Todays was the day. Four years ago to this day my precious twin sister disappeared mysteriously. She left behind nothing that could trace her it was like she was never in the woods that day. No evidence was ever found an there was never any leads. Everyone was staring and I wanted them to stop. Yes I had gone through a lot but people giving me sympathy was not what I wanted. I head to history with my favourites teacher Alaric. He knew what I had gone through but didn't treat me any different to anyone else which made me glad. All he did was give me a small smile as I headed to my seat. After that I zoned out and didn't pay attention to the rest of the lesson. All of a sudden I saw her but then she was gone. I thought to myself that I was going crazy but I was disrupted by the bell. I know it wasn't her but I miss her that much I started to hallucinate and imagine her.

END OF JEREMYS POV

Elena walked through the front door after a long day of school imagining what would happen tonight. Her dress was hung up on her wardrobe door. She went in her bathroom and started putting on makeup and curling her hair. She remembered all the good times she would have doing jess' makeup and hair. This made tear's well up in her eyes but she couldn't cry. Her crying would cause mascara to run down her face and she didn't want Jeremy to see her crying. Although she wasn't as close to Jess as Jeremy she still missed her younger sister very much. For months she would go out into the woods looking for her sister and she would leave the downstairs light on in case Jessica would ever find her way home. She begged her mum to keep her room the same so there it lay untouched for four years. Jess' things lying there gathering dust. When Jeremy and Elena were sad they would go into her room and sit on her bed remembering all the happy memories in that room and hoping that one day more would come. She put her dress on and left a note on the side for Jeremy.

Elena walked through the door of the Mikalelsons mansion and all eyes turned to her and admired her beauty. Her dress was lovely and sparkled in the light. Damon found himself fixated on her but when he snapped out of his trance he remembered that he told her not to come tonight and she defied him.

"What do you think your doing here, I told you not to come" Damon shouted at Elena earning glances from people near by.

"I have to find out what Esther wants, I will be fine Damon stop worrying" Elena replied In a calm voice

"Fine but if she hurts you" Damon threatened but he was cut of by Elena.

"she wont" Elena confidently stated

She and Damon continued walking into the house where they spotted the original family all gathering on the stairs. Elijah looked like he was ready to give a speech and so he began.

"So glad that you all could come, when my mother gets the whole family together we have a ball. we start the evening with a dance. Tonight's choice is a centuries old waltz, so please find a partner and head to the dance floor." He shouted loud enough so every one could hear.

ELENAS POV

I saw her she was on the stair case heading back upstairs. She looked at me and the continued.

"Don't even think about, you are not going up there" he declared

"She wants me to go alone i want to know what she wants" I snapped back

He took my hand and took me the the dance floor. I saw matt there with Rebekah and Caroline with Klaus that was an unusual pair I hope she's okay.
