airplane ride

Here goes nothing. I'm just standing here staring at the entrance to the airplane dreading to see my so called father..."excuse me miss you must board now" I looked up it was the stewardess " Yes of course" I started to get into the plane and find my seat.

As soon as I was seated I put my seat belt on and put in my ear buds. I started listening to my music just trying to relax I haven't seen my father in so long since he moved after the divorce.

I look like my father with my curl raven black hair and pale white skin but I got my face from my mother she is....I mean was very beautiful. I wear huge nerdy glasses that cover up my one blue and one green eye.

The doctors say that my genes were so mixed that I got one green eye from my mom and one blue eye from my dad. The one thing I can say is that I love the woods and I've never been to the woods cuz duh I live in I mean lived in Florida

but Pennsylvania has so many trees that I'm gonna have a heart attack. Luckliy my father told me his house is in the woods and my soon to be room has a balcony towards the woods I wonder if I'll see any animals like bears or birds I've always liked bird watching cuz I love to draw them just sitting on there little branch's "to all passengers we will be landing soon so please buckle up and put up your food tray thank u and enjoy your stay in Pennsylvania"

we'll I guess I better get ready see my father after like 4 years of not seeing him. I never really own a lot of things so I only had two carry ons and one suitcase I started leaving the plane and....there he was my father....he still had the black hair and white skin with his blue eyes.

He looked nervous he was biting his lip and looking around I guess that's where I got it from.when he saw me he looked shocked I can't blame him cause duh I hit puberty right after he left. I started walking towards him he actually started running towards me and gave me the tightest bear hug that only father's could give.

"Hey dad it's nice to see you after four years" I didn't mean to be harsh but come on my mother just died and now I have to live with the man who left my mother and abandoned us out of the blue. "I'm so sorry Sula for your loss but I'm glad your here I missed you"

I looked at my father like he was an alien but then I saw it one....single.....tear fell out of his eye and I realized he truly love my mother and me and that he was sad about her passing away. " it's ok dad I missed you it's just you just picked up and left us you never explained you just....left us" he looked worried and guarded which made me feel he was hiding something " oh well Sula I had some stuff going on with my ummm job so I had to leave I'll explain to you soon I promise"

Yea right he will never tell me he's just a liar trying to get me to like him " whatever dad I guess you haven't changed let's just get going ok I'm not in the mood my mother just died I just want to go to my so called new home and wallow in my sadness alone"

I'll admit I felt bad for what I said to him but come on what does he expect he left and never cared to check up on me so that's his fault. We were leaving the airport in his Chevy truck if I can say something positive about my father it was that he has good taste in cars that's For Sure!

"So dad how far is your house" he glanced at me then looked back " well honey it's your house now to...well we are almost there so I hope you like it we are kinda in the middle of no where" I wonder how I'll be able to go to school if we live in the middle of the woods I hope there's a school bus.

"Ummm dad if we live in the middle of no where how am I suppose to go to school" I said cuz like really I'm a sophomore I'm half way done with high school then I can finally get out of here. " oh of course Sula the school bus will be picking you up at 6:30am in front of our house" he said looking scared. "Oh I guess that's cool.....WAIT DID YOU SAY 6:30AM!!!
