Chapter 3- What is this?

London POV **

Me and Karyae talked for hours. She is so smart and she play alot too. She real cool. We got to know each other and I got her number. I wanna be on some other shit but she likes boys. I aksed her was she Bisexual, straight or lesbian and she was like "Oh Nooo, Im strictly Dickly." And I was just like damn. But she does have a boyfriend. His name is Kameron. I was a little upset but I have no right to be. She had to go so I dropped her off at her house. Afterwards I drove to De'Era house. When she answered the door she oulled me in and pushed me up the stairs to her room. "Why are you so happy?" Iasked super confused.

"London! Ray fingered me and oh my god it felt so right!" She sad jumping up and down. "Bruhh! That wasn't really my mom on the phone, it was Jayla," And I told her what happened with Jayla and her mouth was just open because she was so suprised. "Then I went to the park around the corner from her house and was listening to music this fine ass girl taped my shoulder. Her name was Karyae and she was cool as hell! we was talking for hours then I came here." I said all in one breath. 

"So whats going on with you and Ray?" I asked her. "Like, I dont even know. I just met her today and I already feel some type of way. She seem like the type that has hoes and I ain't with all that drama and shit. And what if she just doing this to me because she think I'm gonna be one of her many hoes. I'm not trying to get my feelings hurt London." She said looking past me. Then her phone vibrated. She looked at it. "See! She just said "Hey Beautiful." she cannot say things like that!" Then She started blushing. "Just tell her exactly what you told me then she can cler everything up for you if not mess everything up. But I don't think she would mes it up." I said looking at her.

"You know what? Your right. Ill ask her about it. But not tonight cause it's to late." She said. "Its late? Bro I haven't looked at a clock since we was at the mall! I gotta go! Text me girl!" I said before I ran out her house. I already now my mama finna trip on me. I just do not feel like hearing her mouth cause I already know I'm gone hear something when I first walk in. I pulled in the garage and walked in the house. "London Is that you?! Why you coming in so late? Where was you at? Out there being a little hoe?" As much as I love my mama and I know she loves me, I dont know why she always think I'm being a hoe. "I cant wait till yo ass 18 and can get the the fuck up out of here." she screamed in my face. That's the thing.

Ever since she married Marcus, my stepdad. She been jumping out her body and she just havent been the same. Like Marcus been trying to whoop my Little brother Kayden. Like, get your over grown ass on. He fucking 9 years old, He don't know half the shit you expect him to know. I just walked upstairs to my room. I got on my lapto and started looking for jobs. Cause the way my mama be acting I'm gonna be out of here way before im 18. I found a job at Ultra Foods being the cashier. I guess that's descent but I want big money not no 9 to 5 making 9 dollars a hour.

Ray POV **

De'Era might just be the one but I'm not sure I'm ready to settle down. But I'm sitting in my car in the garage thinking about what recently happened in my car. I took the keys out the ignition and walked in the house. I stopped by the stairs because I heard my Mom and Dad talking. "I'm getting transferred to Atlanta for this movie and you know this! Neither one of us can help that we move so often!" My dad yelled.

"We've barely been her over night and were already looking for a house in Atlanta! I actually think Ray likes it here! Matthew was telling us earlier on the phone he cant wait to come on to CALIFORNIA to the sun and beach! We can't keep constantly moving! Then it's like were moving for no reason. I'm willing to move to Atlanta but its not all about us and our jobs!" My mom said, "Well we can't leave her here her on her own." my dad said calmly. "I wasn't thinking that but why couldn't she? She proved to us a long time ago that she is responsible." She said."I know she did. But what will we do when she goes to school and the teacher says you need this paper signed, when she needs money and everything else?" he said

"She can get emancipated and we can wire money to her account like we always do!" My mama said. I already know she got her hands on her hips. "We can't give her money her whole life. Just like we did Matthew. She's cut off when she's 18 and she has to find a job." he said and nothing was said after that. I walked upstairs and texted De'Era. "Hey Beautiful" she texted back a minute later and said "Hey". I called her and she picked up on the third ring. "Hey Ray whats up?" "Can I come over real quick?" I said wiping my face. I started crying. "Yeah sure? You need my address?" she asked worried. "Nah, remember." I said. "I'm on my way." I said. "Ok she said.

I changed into some black True Religion sweatpants and a black shirt and my Nike slides. I walked to the garage and started up my car. I backed out and looked at the time. 11:02. I drove over to her house and parked on the street. I walked up and rung the doorbell and she came down. She opened the door and she saw that I was crying. "What's wrong?" she asked I didn't answer I just pulled her in for a hug. She just hugged me back. "You staying the night?" she asked. "Can I?" I asked. "Of course." She said. She led me to her room and she layed down and I did to laying my head on her stomach. She played with my hair and I fell asleep.
