. Third Person Perspective .

Space was filled with various sights to behold, but after a while it gets boring. Nothing but darkness and stars with a planet every now and again.

Ultra Magnus was getting bored. There was nothing out here, his search almost felt hopeless. A small part of him even wondered if the war was over; if everyone had been wiped out.

"No." He spoke to himself, the emptiness of his ship making his voice echo. "That is highly unlikely. There will be someone out here."

He was never the optimistic sort, but from a more realistic perspective it was impossible. He just wasn't in the right quadrant.

Ultra Magnus sighed, despite his lack of air, he just felt lost. It wasn't like Magnus to indulge in any feelings, but being alone for so long, he has been forced to consider his own well being.

The scanners weren't picking up any signals, but he'd continue to use them anyway. Magnus feared if he didn't he'd miss something important; and in that sense, he was correct.

The scanner suddenly began to ping. There was something floating off in the distance, something of unidentifiable origin.

"Probably just another rock, but I still must investigate." Magnus tells himself as he begins to steer toward the signal.

Discarded metal and broken weapons floated around in the near area. Magnus was careful of them in case any were rigged with bombs. Continuing through, Magnus began to lose hope.

"This is all discarded supplies. Clearly none of them will be useful." He stated, his voice bitter and filled with frustration. Magnus continues forward either way. Maybe there would be something useful here, but even if there wasn't, at least it was something different from this empty void of space.

Nothing. There was nothing here. Nothing even seemed salvageable.

Magnus knew this path would be getting more and more dangerous to go through, so after a few more nanokliks, he began to turn away. As he turned, something caught his optic. Not much further away, yet barely in sight, was a stasis pod.

The pod was just floating there, nothing really surrounded it. It held a bit of distance from the rest of the stuff he had seen. He went closer, but was still weary. Ultra Magnus took a moment to consider the possibilities of what or who this could be and the potential consequences.

"A stasis pod in the middle of nowhere could hold anything inside." He stated, examining the pod with squinted optics. "It could hold bombs, or even a victim of the plague."

The bombs seemed like a more likely conclusion. The plague was a long forgotten incident after all. Although it killed many, it also didn't last very long. This stasis pod could even contain a deadly deception.

"If it was a decepticon though, I could get the information I need." Ultra Magnus sighed. His next decision would be bold, however it would be necessary, no matter the outcome.

It took a couple kliks, but the stasis pod was now in his ship. Ultra Magnus set the ship to autopilot and went to the room the stasis pod was in.

The pod stood there, it held a similar aura to the one that the universe itself carried. Either way, Ultra Magnus couldn't help but feel intimidated by it. Just like this war, this could be a life or death situation.

Examining the pod, it seemed like there had been some damage done to it. Considering that it had been adrift in space, it had most likely gotten hit by something. Upon further examination, the door of the pod was damaged. The door would need to be forced open.

Ultra Magnus went to find supplies to open the door. This was important to him, this was his new strand of hope. Plus, in the small chance this was another cybertronian: Decepticon, Autobot or even a neutral, some company has been long overdue.

Magnus was nervous to open this pod. It held the potential to hold everything he needed just as much as the potential to hold everything he doesn't. Either way, he began to try and open the pod.

"Psssst..."

The pod opened and a steam seemed to come out of it. Once it cleared, he saw an injured femme. The femme stumbled then fell onto him.

Ultra Magnus caught her. Examining her, he saw the Decepticon insignia. He couldn't seem to hold any hard feelings though. This femme was clearly injured and possibly disgraced by the Decepticons; besides, Optimus always believed in second chances.

Magnus brought her to a berth and lied her down. He put cuffs around her wrists and ankle guards just to be safe.

The femme clearly wasn't ill, only injured. Ultra Magnus took care of that right away. None of the injuries were serious, but this femme would definitely need energon for when she wakes.

Magnus has a good supply to support the two of them for a while, maybe a few kilocycles.

He took care of her before returning to the stasis pod to investigate. The investigation turned up short. Only a damaged data pad was found inside.

Ultra Magnus didn't know much about technology, but he did know how to attain the data from the pad. For the next few cycles, he worked on transferring the data.

Once the information was transferred, the femme awoke, not too long after.
