"I qualify if I say I do!" She gave me a mad, but cute face.
We finished our food, paid, and left. "So where are we going first?" I asked as we walked away from the restaurant area. "We could try this one!" She grabs my hand and dragged me into a fancy clothing store.
"Hello. Can I help you today?" An appropriately dressed employee asked. She had a tight low bun. She wore a white button-up shirt with a light brown vest and a black pencil skirt and one-inch black heels.
"Do you have fancy dresses for going on dates?" Mai-chan asked. I just stood in confusion. "Yes, we do. Follow me." She signaled her hand to follow her while we followed from behind. She leads me to the back of the store that was full of fancy dresses and tuxedos. "Do you have a dressing room too?" I asked. "Yes. It's to the left of you."
Right and left, I tried on dresses but they were either too tight, too big, not in my size, or not my style. I started stressing. "UUUGGGHHHH" I whined aggressively. "We could try another store if you'd like?" I heard my friend say. "Might as well." I sighed. I knew this already gonna be a stressful day. (Author-chan: So another reason I haven't updated in like two months is that I was looking online for a dress for this but our fashion sense these days are too weird so I'll probably just do my best to describe one in the story... and then I found one) We walk to the next store...

We walked to stores, back and forth we looked. No hope. I was sad to realize that I couldn't find anything. As I walk towards the door wistful, I notice a black dress that stood out.
I walk over to get a better look at it. I pull it off the rack to examine it. It was off the sleeve with laced sleeves and see-through until you get to the chest. It was about a few inches above the knee and a little lower in the back. I loved it!

(Author-chan: Sorta like this pic but off the shoulder and a little higher in the back. If you don't like my description of the dress then you could always imagine your type of dress with your favorite color :)) "Do you have this in my size?" I asked an employee. "What is your size ma'am?" They replied. "Size/number." "I'll go look." They walk off into the corner of the store into a little room that says 'employees only' on the front.
A few minutes later, they walk out with the dress but in a smaller size. I take it from them and run over to the changing rooms, excited to try it on. Saki follows behind you. She seemed happy and relieved that you found something you liked.
