Desire

A click clack sounds could be heard echoing inside the long dark hallway making the old man clamped his mouth to prevent any sounds from coming out as he can feel all his body trembling in fear.

The man was hiding behind some small bars, no one could notice that there's someone over there since the entire place was really dark with only the pale moonlight that shine it up.

If he can scream, the man would yelling at the top of his lungs asking for help but now, he can't do it and reveal his whereabouts to the black hood person that was after him.

Not long after, the silence engulfing the place which make the man wondering where the black hood person was. But he know better that it's impossible that person would run away without finishing their mission that the man sure was killing him. The man took this silence as his opportunity to run away as he whispered some spells and a red circle begin to glow in the dark and blow up the hallway with a loud explosion.

As the explosion began, the man get out from the bars and run away as fast as he can. He run straight outside the mansion he lived in, not bothering that it's started to crumbling down caused by his explosive magic. As he look the green fields, he sighed in relief before realizing what was happening outside, the man shrieked in fear when he found out a bloody massacre right in front of his eyes. The guards that's all with B or higher rank were laying on the ground, not moving an inch.

Falling on his butt, the man could feel that his entire body was frozen. He should be running away and save his life knowing that such magic won't stop the black hood person. But unfortunately, he can't found a single energy left on him.

Out of sudden, a sounds of laughter was ringing on his ears as if it's a sign that he wouldn't be able to live longer. The man heard a soft thud behind which make him turn his head back and look up at the black hood person that was already right behind him. The hood was covering their face as a sinister smile was appearing on their lips "Time's up" the voice sounds like it came from a female while she make a cross sign with her fingers.

The man instantly on his knees while bowing at the hooded person which he assumed as a female that was right in front of him "P-please spare my life!" he stuttered out now facing the ground bringing his head as low as he can. He doesn't want to die, not right now.

Chuckling, the hooded person bend down while the man just was about to cast another spell for buying time and run away from this so called infamous serial killer. Almost everyone know about the black hood, but the man never expected that he would be one of her target "W-why do you want to kill me anyway?" he asked still not finishing the spell yet.

Lifting a hand to her chin, the black hood act like she was thinking before answering the man question "Why not? It's fun anyway looking at you begging for your life like this!" she exclaimed without a hint of guilt lashing on her surprisingly calm and soft voice 'She is a crazy psycho' thought the man finishing his spell as another red circle start to appear right below the black hood who look taken aback by the sudden magic circle "Let's end this" said the man before snapping his fingers before using his flying magic and fled away from the place with a sigh of relief despite the guilty feelings inside of him watching that all of his workers were drop dead on the ground.
