The all-mighty hero arose from the dust and debris of the destroyed look-out post. There used to be a henchman up there, watching out for intruders to alert the dreaded villain. To the hero though, he was just another obstacle to pass and destroy. And destroy he did, covered in the blood of the short-lived target. It stuck to his clothes like a medal as he entered the villains domain, ready to fight or die trying.

His footsteps thudded against the stone floor, causing an air of suspense....before it got drowned out. A series of furious fleeting footsteps, getting louder and louder as the mastermind approached. What he saw wasn't quite what he was expecting though...

"HOW DARE YOU!" The supposed 'villain' cried out, eyes brimming with pain and distress. The hero stood shocked, rooted to the spot like an anchor was attached to him. He was so confused, he was the one who should be upset with this man, not the other way around. He was the good guy...right?

"Why would you do that!?? You killed him in cold blood!!!"

"Uhhh.... I-I'm here to stop any murder?"

"Then what about Henry."

"........I'm sorry, who?"

"HENRY, MY HENCHMAN! THE ONE YOU JUST KILLED! The one who was watching out for me...the one I trusted to watch the door here. I grew up with that man! Or hey, what about Mary? The poor cleaning lady you saw half an hour ago, cleaning my corridors. And you killed her as well for simply doing her job. And there more! Harper the sniper? Her brother I had to give the rest of the week off so he could mourn for her, so now I have one less sniper and a heartbroken weapons maker. And wait, there's still more! My uncle from the barrier gate? Dead. The woman who controlled the drawbridge?! De-"

"Ok, ok, I get it.......so you...knew these people?"

The 'bad guy' had gone from mourning to shaking with rage like a switch. It's like the hero didn't even see these people- friends even, as more than brainless pawns on his behalf.

"Of course do you imbecile! How do you think I got them to work here? I can't just go to the local supermarket and buy a 127 pack of minions half price! You killed a bunch of my people, and for what? The 'greater good'. 90% of them had never even committed a crime in their lives! I'm not the murderer here.....you are."
