Camp camp: a new friend (personality saw AU)

Prologue: the new kid

Nikki's POV: 

David was acting all 'happy happy happy' about this new kid that will be joining camp today and I can all ready hear how annoying he will be and he will probably want me to be his friend and I don't want to be friends with ANYone here,

While we were all in the mess hall eating out shitty potatoes or at least I think they're potatoes David was waiting outside for the bus to arrive and an idea popped into my head ,when the bus arrives I can steal it and drive away from this fucking hell hole of a camp, so I left the mess hall and waited at the front of the camp where David was waiting for the bus to arrive and he saw me and seemed happier than usual "can you believe it nikki? Where getting a new camper today! Are you looking forward to making a new friend" I groaned in annoyance "I'm not going to be his friend david! I am probably going to hate him!" David looked at me unhappily "you're not going to hate him, you haven't even met him yet! So today when he arrives you and him will have the rest of the day to yourselves and you so t need to do anymore of today's activities" hearing him say that made me happy, I  am just ditch this kid and spend the rest of the day do it whatever the fuck I want " ok david, I'll be his friend" David started celebrating that I had made a 'friend' today and suddenly the bus arrived and the doors opened and quartermaster just turned his head "new kid is here" and then the new kid stepped off the bus wearing some blue overalls with a yellow shirt and David greeted him "HI there, you must be max my name is david"he held his hand out for a handshake and 'max' shook his hand and David turned to me "this is nikki, she will show you around camp today and maybe even be my friend" she pushed us closer to each other and went into the mess hall leaving me alone with this kid "I guess I'll show you around"

Max's POV:

I had just arrived at camp Campbell and the counsellor named David has just greeted me and introduced this girl named nikki to me and told me she would show me around camp and that she may become my friend and i was exited to make a new friend, "I guess I'll show you around" she gestured me to follow her and I excitedly followed her to the camp sites "these are all the camp there are here, magic camp, larping camp, space camp, art camp, boot camp, sports camp and theatre camp" then she took me to the lake "this is lake lilac and in the middle is spooky island" then she pointed into the forest "and that's the forest" she told me that was everything I needed to know about camp Campbell and started walking off "Wait where are you going?" She turned around and shoved her pockets into her hoodie pockets " my tent! I'm tired and since I showed you around f the camp I can spend the rest of the day not needing to do any activities" I was sad that I hadn't been able to make a new friend yet and walked into the mess hall and sat down and the other female counsellor walked over to me "hey new kid! Where's nikki" I looked up at her and answered her question "she's in her tent trying to go to sleep, she told me she has the rest of the day not needing to do activities since she gave me a tour of camp" she had an annoyed look on her face and walked out the mess hall telling me to follow her, she walked over to nikki's tent and walked in telling me to wait outside as she went on and a few minutes later she walked out and told me "nikki wants to be your friend, you guys can both stay in here all day and talk to each other, oh and you're going to share a tent" gwen walked back into the mess hall and nikki groaned sou d really annoyed at the counsellor but still told me to come inside the tent "here's a spare bed that you will be sleeping in" I sat down on the bed and tried starting a conversation with her "so your name is nikki" she crossed her arms and leaned on her bed "yes, and you're max?" I nodded at her " so what camp is your camp nikki?" She told me she doesn't like camping and asked my my camp and I told her my camp was music camp "what instrument can you play" I told her I can play the violin and she asked me if I could play it right  or and I told her I could and I unpacked my stuff and pulled the violin out and removed it from its case and started to play a song

When I finished the song nikki just stared at me with Her mouth open in shock and awe in her eyes while not moving at all"nikki?" I asked concerned "Max, that was so beautiful" she gave me a small smile "thanks nikki, I thought I couldn't play well" she jumped up off her bed and stood in front of me "are you kidding me? That was one of the best songs that I have ever heard in my life" she sat back down on her bed and I asked her if we were actually friends or not "so nikki are we friend or not" after I asked that nikki didn't say anything for a few seconds before answering "sure we are friends" I put my violin back into its case and his it under my bed to keep it safe "so max, we have today to do whatever we want, what do you want to do?" I shrugged since today was only my first day of camp "let's just go to the main camp area and do what we want" she grabbed my wrist and pulled me out the tent and to the activities area and when David saw us he had a big smile on his face "NIKKI ARE YOU FRIENDS WITH MAX NOW? YYYAAYYY I KNEW YOU WOULD MAKE NEW FRIENDS" Nikki just still her middle finger up at him and told him "fuck off david, go suck a dick" she grabbed my wrist again and pulled me towards the lake and walked onto the deck and let go of my wrist "max wanna skip some stones?" she asked my picking up a handful from the ground and offering me some "sure" I answered while taking some stones and she skipped a stone across the water and I did the same and I had some fun doing it but nikki just looked bored "NIKKI are you okay?" I asked her " of course I'm okay max I'm just getting a bit tired, let's go back to our tent" she grabbed my wrist again and pulled me back to our tent and she asked me to turn around while she changed into her pyjamas and I decided to wait outside the tenet while she changed and after 6 minutes she opened the tent flap "I'm changed now max, you can come back in" I walked back into the tent and pulled out my pyjamas and nikki turned around while I changed after 4 minutes I was changed "nikki you can turn around now"she turned around and sat on her bed and I lied down on my bed "are you tired max?" She asked me " no not really, are you tired?" I asked her "no I'm not I thought I was before but I'm not anymore" I sat back up and she asked what I wanted to do while we waiTed until we got tired "I don't know nikki" nikki have a small groan and held her head in her hand annoyed "do you wanna play a game?" She asked me " sure, what do you want to play" I asked her and she gave me an annoyed shrug "what about truth or dare?" I told her that sounded ok and she asked me "okay max, truth or dare?"
