She felt unnatural; as if she was forced into a foreign situation where the tightly-fitted dress that stopped half way up her thigh was just as equally appalling. Her dark locks falling just over her shoulders and the sickeningly sweet smell of leather violating her nose.
She didn't like any of it.
So with grave anxiety and hesitation, she stared down the double doors, sweat dripping down her face and god... why the hell was her heart pounding against her ribs so vigorously?
She played with her ring subconsciously, barely even realizing that's what was keeping her sane at the moment. Noticeably, her breathing was becoming much louder and her lips were turning pale, stomach churning with anticipation and distaste.
"Hey..." suddenly, the world stopped. His fingers intertwined with hers and he brushed his thumb comfortingly across the back of her hand. He needed her to know that she wasn't alone, that whatever happened, he'd be right there through it all. "Deep breaths. We have 2 months until the wedding, right? You have plenty of time to think things over."
"I don't have to think things over, Jungkook. I'm sure... no, I'm more than sure of marrying you- I just-" she inhaled deeply, her dark eyes darting from him to her lap where their hands held each other warmly.
It had been a year since he proposed to her once more; a year since Jaemun finally agreed to settle down with Jungkook. Now that it's getting closer to the time, she can't help but feel nervous just by looking at the venue that the event may be held at.
"I'm just not used to these kinds of things, I guess?" Jungkook chuckled lightly, causing her to look up into his doe-shaped eyes.
"And you think I am?" she sheepishly smiled. "Jaemun, if I weren't keen on making you mine, I wouldn't have asked in the first place... but if any of this makes you unbearably uncomfortable, we can push it back until you are ready," while those words were sweet and full of the type of love she adored so much, her mind was made up. This was the time. Her and Jungkook were going to become a family officially.
A few moments of silence were shared between them as she processed his words, but ultimately, she shook her head and looked back at the tall building decorated in gold details.
"Like I said before, there's no need. I'll never be ready until I just do it and we won't be young forever," she fiddled with her fingers once more and bit her lip, debating whether the words she wanted to say were appropriate or not. "I mean... don't you want to start a family together someday?"
She didn't think it was possible, but those huge eyes of his grew double in size and he practically flinched at the mention of having children with her. Sure, the topic of having kids has come up a few times, but he never thought she took it as seriously as he did. It was exactly that, they were in their mid-twenties already and mentally, Jungkook was prepared.
Beings as how Jaemun is scared even for their own wedding, he never thought she could handle the idea of him opening up to the idea sooner rather than later.
If there was going to be a time to do it, however, he had to get it off his chest now.
"J-Jaemun, actually... I've been wanting to talk to you about that," as if the timing couldn't be worse, Jungkook noticed a familiar, jet-black Porsche Carrera come rolling into the parking lot. Jaemun's slightly quizzical expression would have to wait, for Jungkook knew that the moment was ruined.
She noticed his face fell into a frown and he hesitantly let go of her hand.
"He's here..." Jungkook mumbled, avoiding eye contact with his significant other as he was a little hurt by the poor timing.
