"Are you ready for the havan" asked Dev to his wife Krishvi who in return just give a un interestingly nod. He got concern and ask any problem. Krishvi sighed and said her heart out. "Look sir, I know I signed the contract with you for 6 months to be your wife but it's only 3 months and I am feeling like i am cheating your family. These rituals, their love, affection. You are their own blood they might forgive you but they will hate me once they will know the truth." She was on verge of crying. Dev opened his mouth to say something but was able to respond her. He took a big breath and said Krishvi i have told you earlier as well not worry about this. I will handle everything. I explained you my problem that my mother is after my marriage. "Yes like every mother your mom also want to see you settled and have babies and all you do is lie about your marriage" Krishvi said cutting him off. Dev respond with a funny comment "not exactly fake marriage,we are married. And you are forgetting i am still your boss."
"Fine contract marriage happy Dev Dixit, opss sir. They will think that i am a gold digger"
Dev sat beside Krishvi who was trying to wear the bangles given by her mother in law. He try to help her in wearing bangles and said no one will say such things about you. Once the contract gets over i will have the time for myself and later i will get married for real i will tell truth to everyone. Now don't waste anymore time and come everyone is waiting downstairs.

Havan puja for family well begin gets over but neighbours, mostly women, were still in the Dixit house for chit chat. Like a good daughter in law Krishvi was serving tea and prasad to them. All of them were praising dev for finding such a perfect wife. An old lady in her 70s said to Dev's mother how lucky she is, turning to Krishvi she advised her now it's the correct time for you to have babies. Surprised Krishvi look at dev who was in equal shock and suprised.

Dev and Krishvi were in their room after everyone left.
"So what next sir.. a contract baby" Krishvi asked in Sarcastic tone and dev answere her in same way, hmm do you think it will be possible. I don't think baby can sign paper and you can call your would be child's father by his name" . Krishvi glare.
"I am scared dev". Then don't be Krishvi. After sometime Krishvi asked dev what if i fell for you, what if don't want to terminate the contract. Dev stopped in track and share eyegaze with her but said nothing. Later he told her to rest and calm her thoughts down. Their talk was interrupt by their mother who came to give blessings to them for being perfect son and daughter in law. But she didn't forget to talk about the baby, very cleverly she told them to think about that but there is no pressure on them.
After she left, Dev look at Krishvi who was playing with finger rings and said "so I don't blame you if you don't want to terminate the contract, I mean I know I am damn handsome. I also heard you and other staff talking about my looks and sharp brain. Also I don't mind having babies with you" he winked at the last statement he made. A full blown laughter was the response of Krishvi. Dev joined her gladly. They both agree that contract might end but their friendship will always remain same.

What they don't know is as this new friendship blossom soon they will discover their love for each other which will hold them together not any paper.
