A week went by and I had eventually stopped thinking about the man I danced with at the club. I went back to my routine. It was a Saturday today . Which meant I'd be working my ass off in the shop all day. I did my morning routine and went to my closet to select my outfit of the day. After that I tied my hair in a half up half down bun and went downstairs to get my shop set up for the day.

Soon enough the shop started filling with my daily customers. I always spent at least 5 minutes talking to them, asking them about their life and so would they. I loved talking to them. I left my parents house years ago. Everything I have now I've made from scratch. Ofcourse my parents would ask me if I wanted help financially but I always refused. I didn't want any strings attached to them. I hated the life I had before. When I left my parents house I vowed to never look back. To never  go back to them. My customers had become my family. Talking to them and seeing them everyday comforted me.

After working all day I finally was ready to close out the shop. I went to the door to turn my sign to CLOSED when I spotted a black car with tainted windows across the street. The weird thing is, it has been there all day today. I also notice a man sitting at the newspaper store across the road. I let it go.

For the next whole week I saw the same car being parked in the same position. Everytime I looked over to it, the man at the newspaper stand would look away. I caught him staring at him me a few times. It was no different today either. I decided it was time to go confront him today. So I locked my café and went across the road to talk to the man.

As soon as he saw me coming towards him he called someone and began leaving.
" Hey wait up." I called after him.
He didn't stop so I ran behind him n caught his arm.
"I said. Wait. Up." I said looking him straight in the eyes. Ofcourse he was taller than me so I had to look up and I don't think I looked even the tiniest bit intimidating.
"Yes." He said while still looking around like he was searching for someone.
"Why have you been stalking me?" I asked
He just shrugged and went in the car and sped off.

All night that day I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about the man outside my café. So I got up and decided to go peep through the window to see if there's anyone there. Fortunately I didn't see anyone there.

Next day when I went to the Café, there was a package at the door with my name on it. I took the package and looked around to see if there was anyone I recognized out there. When I didn't see anyone I went back to the shop, eager to see what was inside. When I opened the box I saw an invite to some kind of a ball. I was stunned because I had no connections to anyone so rich that would be capable of arranging a ball. well, not anymore anyways. So I called Nessa and asked her to come over.

After 10-15 mins Nessa and I were sitting on the counter and wondering who could it be. Who did we know that was so rich. "oohhhh I know! I know! Gimme that." Nessa said suddenly jumping down from the counter and pulled out her phone. She took a picture of the invite and sent it to someone. "Will you tell me what the fuck are you doing?" I asked getting back to work. "I just sent the picture to Kevin. He works at the new richie rich club right? So maybe he knows who's party that is." she said coming around the counter to help me set up. "That's right. Good job Nessa. I knew keeping you around wasn't such a horrible idea. " I said laughing. A napkin came flying straight at my head. "Shut up asshole." Nessa said.

"Has Kevin replied?" I asked growing impatient. As soon as I said that we heard her phone ring and saw it was Kevin. Nessa picked it up and   put it on loud speaker. "Hey sexy. I wish you were here right now. You should see my..." Before he could continue I covered my ears and yelled "STOP!STOP!STOP! YOU'RE ON SPEAKER!! JEASUS!!" "Oh shit!" I heard the embarrassment in  his voice and looked over at Nessa laughing. On the floor. Clutching her stomach. "OMG.. I ca... I can't breathe" she managed to get it out. "Get up you asshole." I pulled her up. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have kept it on speaker without letting him know." she managed to say wiping her tears. "Can we get back to the matter at hand?" I said. "Yeah. Hey baby. Did you see the picture I sent you?" Nessa took the phone and asked Kevin. "Yeah. Yeah. How did you even get it? It's a high class event being Hernandez Mansion ." he said. "NO WAY." me and Nessa said at the same time. Hernandez Mansion was a very secluded mansion located at the end of the city. Not alot of people are allowed there and it is heavily guarded at all times. "Those parties are invite only. How you managed to get invited is a big mystery." Kevin said. "Yeah. It is a mystery." I said getting busy in my thoughts, while I left Nessa to talk to her bf.

I took out my phone and went out of the cafe and into the alley behind it. I dialed the number I have memorized perfectly to my utter dismay. They phone rang a few times before they answered. "Hola bebé. es tan bueno escuchar tu voz." (hello baby. Its so good to hear your voice.)
