The gods of Spring must hate me today
I must not be worth the while
But I'd still give everything I've got
Just to see you smile
And I'd sell my soul this very very second
To call you mine, my lost love
I'd die if it meant you'd be happy
But somehow I feel it wouldn't be enough
It's raining, it's raining
And I can't see why
It's raining, it's raining outside
Why can't I go outside?
And it's raining, it's pouring
It's crashing down around me
It's raining like tears all around
I love you so much, but you don't see
Why are you so standoffish today?
I thought we had an understanding
You're changing, and I don't get you anymore
Like a pressure cooker, my contents expanding
I don't know why you're not in love with me yet
I try so hard to make it obvious to you
But you can't do what you can't do
Bittersweet, love in full bloomIt's raining, it's raining
And I can't see why
It's raining, it's raining outside
Why can't I go outside?
And it's raining, it's pouring
It's crashing down around me
It's raining like tears all around
I love you so much, but you don't see
