Katy looks at her wirst, and it glows very brightly. "I'm sorry, I can explain really! I-i-i-i" The lady looks at her wrist, and her eyes open wide. "Your one of them! Your one of them! I have to go get Jen!" The Lady runs to the central area of the barn with excitement. Katy had NO idea what she meant by them but it was something. A woman with riding pants, boots, and a sweater with a riding cap ran in the door. "Your're wrist...its glowing...what's your name little girl?" Katy said with hesitation. "My name is Katy...and I'm not a little girl, i'm 12 years old."  The woman looked at her, with confusion. "Say, how did you get here in the first place?"  "Well...I ran away from home...let's just say that." The woman touched her wrist. The hoofprint was still glowing, but the glow was some type of liquid at the same time. "Can you tell me why you ran away from home?" "Well, things weren't the best. My mom and dad would fight normally everyday, screaming at each other. They promised me if they ever struck it rich, they would, without a doubt, get me a horse. I know it's much to ask, but they did strick it rich. I asked them 'Can I get my horse now?' They looked at me like I was a alien. They said to me 'Horses, we kill them all if we have to.' They broke there promise ever since I was 5. I can't believe them." The woman looked at her. "Do you stay anywhere?" Katy started to hold back tears. "I sleep here, I make sure no one knows i'm here, so when everyone at night comes, I keep company to the horses. I sleep in the sofa you have in the attic upstaires."  The horses start to whinny very loud, they want to know whats going on....or, at least what Katy thought. "Well, I think you should know why that hoofprint is glowing."
