Staring through her large windows, the little girl wonders in curiosity as to why the queen and king would prohibit her from going through those thick and dense forest. Though there's nothing really alarming before her eyes, the kingdom itself worries a lot about it.

Why would they fear the forest? It sure has a lot of wild in it, but is it enough to wipe an entire kingdom literally?

The doors to her chamber opened, followed by a clicking sound of a familiar heels; the queen's. Turning around, her smile widens at the sight of her beautiful mother in her beautiful dress she adores so much along with her crown.

"mother!" she reached her hands for her mother and the queen accepts, pulling her daughter close while she caught sight of her daughter's open window, again.

"Close the blinds!" The queen commanded the handmaiden that accompanied her. The queen carried her daughter and placed her above her bed, she brushed her hair to the side while her worried eyes settled on her daughter's face.

The queen looked at her daughter's eyes, "you are told to never open those blinds at any costs, Natalia." her voice laced in warning and worry sinks deep on her daughter's head.

"mother, why are you scared of the forest? It is beautiful and calm." the princess reasoned out, her lips in a pout and her eyes held sadness.

The queen sighed as she helplessly looked at her daughter's eyes, "That's the problem.." she whispers under her breath.

The princess frowned in question, "mother—"

The queen tucked her in, "you listen to what you're told, young one." she straightened herself and planted a kiss on her daughter's forehead before leaving its chamber.

Reaching the throne, Georgina caught the sight of her husband pacing around. Her presence caused him raising his head and looking towards her direction. She flashed him a small smile as she walked her way towards him.

"she did it again, didn't she?"

She gave out a sigh as she nods. Nothing seems to stop their daughter from looking onto the forest. Mikhail sighs.

"it is the connection. Our daughter would want and just want the forest for herself soon—"

"No, Mikhail ! We would never let it happen." tears welled her eyes as her heart tighten, the very thought of their daughter stepping inside that cursed forest has her dying inside.

Mikhail placed his palms on his wife's cheeks and wiped her tears away, "we wont, my queen. I would die first before she even decides herself."

Mikhail pulled her in and embraced her, the thought of losing their only daughter was unbearable enough. She's the future of both the kindom and herself, lives of many people and also hers are on her hands.

A voice had passed his mind that had him gritting his teeth and fists clenching.

" A beast would come and claim the princess, he'll make her his at the very first moment his eyes landed on her form. He'll never be stopped, and she wouldn't even resist."

No one would claim their daughter, no one would come for her. His daughter would resist any threat, he'll make sure he has that in her. He'll train her well and practice her well, outside and inside. Mentally, emotionally, and physically.
