Just Hold On

Chapter 1-- The News

"Anna, come down here." said her mother.

"What can she possibly want now?" She thinks to herself.

She was totally not ready for what was going to come out of her mother's mouth. "Yes?" Anna says as she gets downstairs.

"Well you need to start packing. We're moving." Said her mother.

"Are serious? You weren't even going to talk to me about it?" Anna shouts!

"I'm sorry sweetie. It just happened all of a sudden. We will leave next month." Mother said.

Anna said nothing, she stormed off and decided it was time for a long walk. As Anna was walking she saw her teacher Mr. Kelly. She tried not to make eye contact. Anna wasn't social at all. She hated the fact that she had to go to school, or even talk to people she sees in public. But she managed to get through the days without totally freaking out.

The next day she had to spread the news to her friends. Well, "friend." As long as Anna have lived in California she had one friend named May. May took the news really hard. She didn't speak to Anna from then on. Anna tried to text May and explain that it wasn't her fault, and that she could do nothing about it. But May didn't respond. Anna was all packed. Along with her twin brothers and parents. And she was determined to leave a day early because she could not stand to know that she is leaving May.
