 Phoenix mouthed while flying towards the Southern Cross not knowing Joker heard it all along.

Phoenix was captured and now he's suffering by the hands of Dr. Neo, a human who wants to get his hands on Phoenix heart in order to have eternal life.

'I'm... finished... Is this the "death" that humans speak of?'

'Want... to go... home...'

Phoenix was currently lock up in a tube filled with water, his vision becomes blurry, his body becomes heavy. Even though he was in the water he can feel his tears escaping from his eyes. He can't go on anymore, he's tired, he is about to accept his fate-

"Hosshi!"

"Emblem Fire!"

"Hang in there yawning jerk!"

Dr. Neo and his guards were puzzled but quickly regained composure.

"What are you doing? Hurry up and shoot them all!"

"Not so fast... Straight Flash!" Joker shouted

While they were blinded by the light, Joker and the others made their escape not fully aware that a sniper was carefully hidden in the dark waiting to attack.

Phoenix was still weak due to the water almost dissolving his cells he manage to mutter a weak "Joker"

"The games still not over yawning jerk. I'm being fair that's why I'm giving you a chance by saving you." Joker said

"Yeah, you're right" He replied

Phoenix replied but was cut off when he suddenly felt a gush of pain fill his chest making him fall if it wasn't for Joker holding him he would be dirty by now. They laid him by the rock making him look up into the night sky where the Southern Cross was visible. He couldn't hide his sadness anymore.

"I want to go home..."

Without him noticing Joker was eyeing him with sad eyes as if he knew the feeling of wanting to go home, to run away from everything and to be finally in peace, to be free from all the cruel things people on earth was doing to him. Joker swear to himself that he would do anything, anything at all just to make Phoenix happy, He wants to see him smile and laugh like there's no tomorrow.

"The comet heading on Earth, that's the ancient treasure right?" Joker asks to break the silence.

Joker knows very well that his answer would be yes. Truthfully saying he was afraid to let Phoenix go but seeing him like this breaks his heart even more. Why does he even feel this way it's not like the other feels the same way for him...

"Yeah... It's the same spaceship Acrux and me first came on." The red head replied

When Phoenix says spaceship, Joker's fears doubled but he know that he have to do this in order for his love to be happy. Hachi told Phoenix about the comet that will be fired with missiles but instead of breaking down and cry Phoenix smiled a sad smile.

"I see. Guess I'm never getting home then..." Akai commented

"What, you're giving up? I told you didn't I the games not over yet. Is that all your games worth?" Joker retorted back
