Part 4

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE LOCKWOOD AND CO. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucy's POV: 

Well. That was certainly unexpected. 

Also, did I ever tell you that Lockwood looks so HOT with his lips slightly swollen and his hair messed up? 

"Uh...well, uh, I think that's enough on this lesson. The next lesson is in 2 days. Um...thanks for y'know, reassuring me." I stuttered. 

Lockwood just nodded and exited my room. Which was when bumped my head against the wall several times. Why, why, why, just why did I accept Lockwood's request? I knew that all boys did was mess with your head.  

I think it's just my hormones and Lockwood's looks. Because he already told me that he has no romantic feelings for me. And I copy that. 

I walked downstairs for dinner. Just as I was about to turn the corner into the kitchen, Holly stopped me. 

"Hey, Lucy, could I talk to you? I just have something that's been on my mind for a while and I need to tell someone. " She said as sweetly as possible. 

"I...er...." I muttered. 

Holly shone a bright smile at me. "Great! Thanks so much!" She dragged me into an empty adjoining room. 

Once inside the room with the door locked, Holly's smile slid off. 

"Listen, Luce, I don't know what happened between you and Lockwood, but, last I saw him, he walked out of your room with what looked like bed hair and swollen lips. And, I just wanted to let you know that he's mine. So, apart from work and other formalities, please stay away from him. If you know what's good for you." 

I shone her my signature Carlyle grin. "Oh, I didn't know that in my contract it said that I have to take orders from the secretary. But, wait! It didn't. So just leave me alone, Holly, OK? Have a nice day." I unlocked the door and left, slamming it on my way out. 

God, what does she have against me? It's not my fault that Lockwood asked for my help instead of hers! 

I grabbed a bit of veggie that George had steamed and turned on the TV in the living room. Nothing amusing was on, so I just turned it off and grabbed a mystery that I was reading. Just as I was getting towards the breaking point in the book, someone interrupted me. 

"Hey, Luce. Mind if I sit there?" Lockwood nodded to the spot right next to me. 

"Yes, of course, no problem." I moved over a couple of inches and then Lockwood sat down. Just as he was about to put some food in his mouth, Holly came in with a pout/scowl on her face. 

The scowl part was probably directed towards me.

Wait, no, it is directed towards me.

I threw a secretive smirk at Holly and continued to read my mystery. What was she gonna do, throw me-

"Oops, sorry Lucy, I had no idea you were there!" Now it was her turn to give me a smirk. "Anyways, Lockwood, how was your day? Any new cases that I should put in the files?" And then, poof, Lucy disappeared off the face of Earth or something because Lockwood and Holly completely forgot about me. 

I decided to go back to the kitchen to sit and eat with George because even sitting with George was better than watching Holly and Lockwood fli-

Wait. 

Lockwood likes Holly!?

And Holly likes Lockwood!? 

Well, that's great for them. No, I'm not jealous or anything...

Well, maybe just a bit...but just a bit!

It was his looks. And you can't blame me. Lockwood looks really good in danger. And in every other moment of his day. 

If Holly wanted to take him, be my guest. I had no problem. 

*time skip brought to you by grinning skully*

It's time for the next lesson. And I think I know what Lockwood needs to learn, but I'm not sure if he'll want to??

But I have to try. 

Lockwood walked into my room. "Hey Luce, what's up! What are we gonna learn today?" He shot me his gigawatt smile. 

I coughed. "Well, I don't know if you've ever heard of...nibbling?" 

Lockwood had a confused expression on now. "What?" 

I blushed. "Nibbling. It's when you...well... I'll just show you." 

Hehe, I was too tired to finish this, and I have to go to dancing classes, but there will an update on the other books, and another update on this book TOMORROW!
