As we head towards the top
My fingers started to tingle
The Icy-Cold weather coming in late at night
As the flashes of our lights shine in the dark night
We see a large figure approaching us with fright
As we stop walking, silences fills the night
The temperature starts to fall again, wind starts blowing; making the trees wake up
As snow starts to fall down, it piles up.
"Keep an open mind, come outside, and soon you'll find yourself engulfed in the dark abyss of my night. Don't be afraid of me, I'll keep you warm. If you run the other way, I will devour you. don't tempt it, or else the wind will bring you to your end."
As we stand in fright the moon no longer visible, our strength starts to weaken as the wind continues
As the quicksand start to rise, our only hope is to scream, or stay silent to see the beast.
"don't tempt me, or the darkness will rise, soon you will see what will come to light."This poem is about two kids wandering in the forest during a winter night. I like the picture of the man walking up the snowy hill. So I made it spooky and scary. The kids come across the myth of the snow demon, the story about a lady who was buried alive under snow by people in her town. She was hated being outspoken and being a rule breaker, so one night while she was heading back home, the town sent men to get rid of her, and since it started to snow the only thing they could do was bury her under the cold, white snow. Now she does the same thing to any people who are out at night. If you run away from her she will drop the temperature around you making it impossible to leave, and if you stay calm and wait till the end she will bring you warmth until you head inside your home, but if your intention is to only leave and not thank her she will only bring you bad luck.
