Hi. My name is Izuku Midoriya. I'm 18, and currently working my ass off for £6 and hour at a greasy old roadside diner.
Now you might think, 'Oh that can't possibly be that bad!'..... BUT YOU'RE SO WRONG. I hate working here. The lunch rush, my loud-mouthed boss, the rude chef, the greasy perverts called "customers", and the loud rattling every time a car or truck goes past.
Plus, I'm forced to wear this tacky uniform EVERY DAY. It stinks of cigarettes no matter how many times I wash it. Though, I guess that IS my fault.
(The uniform is a red bow tie, white shirt, red slacks, and black heels)
I guess it's not all bad, though. My friend since secondary school (High School), Uraraka, works here too, so at least I get to talk to her.
It's a shame, really, that we're both stuck here. But hey, as my mum always says, 'It's better to work than be a lazy bum'!<third person>
Izuku walked about the cozy red-and-White diner, carrying silver trays of food and drink back and forth. He would take people's orders, collect food, dish out cheques, and have quick chats with Uraraka. It was monotone, but it was easy.He would drown out the occasional catcalls he received by simply listening to the steady clacks of his black strappy heels.
While he was having a chat to Uraraka at a quiet hour, the pair heard something coming. A faint, rumbling roar of an engine. Izuku sighed. "Well, looks like we're back to work!" He said plainly, chuckling at Uraraka's annoyed expression. "Whaaaaat? But my shift's nearly over!" She whined. Izuku wafted his hand as he prepared himself. "Oh hush, I'll take this, you get yourself home safe, ok?"
Uraraka smiled widely. "Thank you Izuku! You're a lifesaver!" She exclaimed, giving her greenette friend a quick hug before grabbing her coat and bolting out the back door.
Suddenly, the engine roar grew louder, then stopped. The usual jingle of the bell signalled Izuku to head into the dining area.
There, stood with his hands in his leather coat pockets, was a tall, canary-blonde young man with slicked back spiky greaser hair and an expression that could make a baby cry in fear.Izuku swore the man looked familiar, but brushed it off. "Welcome to the Ruby Roadside Diner! My name is Izuku, I'll be your waiter today! Follow me and I'll get you seated!" Izuku said in the cheeriest way his tired self could muster, smiling wide.
The man scoffed, but followed him. Izuku sat him down at a circular booth, and handed the man a menu with a knife and fork attached.
"Call me when you're ready to order!" Izuku exclaimed cheerily before heading off.<Katsuki's POV>
Katsuki chuckled. "Guess that damn nerd didn't recognise me...." He thought to himself, looking at the menu. After a while, he raised his hand, and snapped his fingers. "Waiter!" He called. Izuku came click-clacking over, and Katsuki had to try not to chuckle.
"I'll have a double-patty hamburger with everything and a mint, mango, and coconut iced shake" He said calmly, watching Izuku write it down quickly. "Anything else, Sir?""No" Katsuki said plainly. Izuku nodded, and walked off.
Katsuki watched as Izuku walked away, noting to himself; 'damn his ass looks good in slacks'.After a while, Izuku returned with his food. He set down the meal, and smiled. Katsuki sighed. This was his chance.
"Y'know, I'm pissed yah' didn't recognise me, Damn Deku".Katsuki watched as Izuku's face was filled with shock, confusion......Then his eyes lit up and he grinned wide.
"KACHAN!!!! I haven't seen you in MONTHS!" He exclaimed happily, jumping over and hugging Katsuki, careful to not hit the food.Katsuki giggled slightly. "Nice to see yah too, nerd" he said, lightly patting Izuku's back.
After a minute, the two pulled apart. Izuku cleared his throat. "W-well, I'd better finish up. My shift will be over once you're done, so I've got to change" He said, reverting to his old, slightly shy self. Katsuki nodded. "Wait for me, would yah?" He asked. Izuku nodded. "Okay, but why?""You'll see, Nerd"
(An hour later)
Katsuki and Izuku walked out of the diner, chatting. The greenette had changed into a pair of denim roll-up shorts, a white shirt, a cute light pink bandanna scarf, and a flight jacket. The two came to a beautiful red-and-black Harley Davidson bike, and Katsuki got on. Izuku noticed the seat was quite a lot longer than normal. Bakugo patted behind him.
"Get on, Nerd" He said plainly.Izuku sputtered nervously. "A-are you sure?"
"Just get on, Deku"
